A little comic to introduce kou to the au 🫶 also the racer’s helmet designs.

I really think I might write a fic for this but for now I’ll share some context, Japan is hosting their first Auto Racing Competition and has open try outs! Kaito has always been a big drag racer, even bringing Kei along for some rides until his mom found out. Now he has a chance to win big, though there is a limited number of spots so the event coordinators hold a few mock-races and have practice tracks. Kaito shows huge promise, getting a lot of attention as a rookie. Renowned American racer Samuel Owens retired to Japan, but now decides to take on an apprentice, Tanaka! The two become instant rivals, though after they both qualify Kaito suddenly gets injured while practicing!! Kei suspects foul play, but can’t prove it, and since Kai never officially withdrew and is still an anonymous face, Kei decides to take his place in the race (also intending to use the prize money for eriko lol). + Kou becomes a big fan and wants to work with Kaito on his pit crew. Izumi is a racer too, Tosaki being her manager with the goal of profiting off her public marketing.
