So 2025 was the year I started binding my favourite fics. Summer saw me frenetically typesetting everything I knew I would want to read again and waiting for the book cloth and supplies to arrive, and these are the first three.
Beset by unforeseen issues
(no matter what I do my printer will not compromise on at least an inch border of white space and I do not have a machine that cuts multiple papers and apparently am incapable of cutting in a straight line (do not ask me to show you DoM’s paper state) plus my old refurbed cricut does NOT cope with vinyl so it’s foil only babes oh and the amount of swearing every time I realised I forgot to press ‘mirror’ not to mention the many MANY spelling mistakes I’ve made on the covers!! 🥴)
I don’t think I do too badly for my first ever proper book binds. I’m not going to reach out to the authors just yet (not at least until I can consistently do better than this) Here’s hoping I claw the fixation back in order to use up the rest of the supplies! (Especially as I have something like 20 other typesets waiting to be printed from the summer)
Final thing, the bookmarks are from my other fixation last year; learning to tablet weave!
