- so in 2015, the lineup for txt was formed as a test co-ed bhe group
- a co-ed group with 6 members
- of course, co-ed groups weren’t unheard of, but no really big companies had formed any
- tbh, el was totally ok with it. she was rly close to all of the fellow members, but the only thing she was worried about was rumors and hate. she knew people would ship her with her members, people would make stupid and delusional “interaction” videos, people would hate on her for being “too close” to her members, people would bash her for being a “slut”
- el knew that it wasn’t important though. it was her dream to become an idol, and this was her chance. but she still couldn’t get the thought of all the hate out of her head
- they were set for debut in 2017-2018
- during her trainee days at bh, el spent most of her time with yeonjun. ofc she had other friends (like the rest of txt) but she was definitely closest to jun, even tho they were “enemies”
- so el had joined bh as a trainee (to become an idol)
- butttt.... bh never knew abt her songwriting/producing skills until after txt was formed in 2015
- they found out one day and decided to do an assessment for some reason?
- so they gave her a random sound and told her to write a song using that one sound
- that sound was:
- and using that sound, el wrote “un village” (she gave it to sm in 2019 tho— 🤭)
- k and somehow based off that assesment, hiTMaN bANg wanted her to debut as a soloist
- he said that she was one of the most talented trainees that he’s ever had, and he didn’t want to waste that talent and risk it to fail in a test group
- (el was kinda offended that he thought hER group was gonna fail)
- and she was set to debut in 2016 ! !
- that’s in 5 months, oop better get to work
- and txt’s debut was pushed back to 2019 (big sad)
- yay el debuted with mini album “fatal” written and produced by el
- big hit (literally) hehe
- 13 consecutive music show wins
- everyone was sO PROUD 🥺
- but with fame comes hate...
- el has tried her best to stay away from malicious comments like her seniors had advised her to do, but it’s practically impossible to ignore hundreds of thousands of people telling you to stop doing what you love
- and el is the type who bottles up her feelings. she doesn’t like crying or asking for help when she needs it
- one day, she really had enough. one small mistake on stage, and all of the haters decide to gang up on her and storm on her mental state
