8th of July 2005: You often hear people say „This record changed my life“. I only used this expression once in a lifetime. Today exactly 10 years ago on 8th of July 2005, a record called „Discopolis“ from „Lifelike & Kris Menace“ came out. When i heard it the very first time i immediately knew that this will be something very very special and felt and intense energy in it. I was not that wrong: Within a short time more than 25.000 (!) vinyls have been sold worldwide. I wanted to know who the hell on this planet is abel to write and produce such an amazing song. There was nothing i didn´t do to get in contact with these guys. Till today, 10 years later, this strong connection is more than ever existing. What could i say? Hard to find words for this. Thank you Alan for releasing this song on your label! Thank you Lifelike for connecting me with Kris.
