An excellent article on why writers must have a synopsis in place to determine whether they have a story. I have failed majestically in this regard for *years*, though I do recall getting at least 1 synopsis completed-- maybe 2. To be fore-warned is to be fore-armed, as one wise person said. Condensing the story into one page really helps cut the flab and cut to the chase.
