Your favorite book cover? - I am not so shallow as to purchase a book solely for its beautiful cover. But I am shallow enough to wait a year and a half for a preferred pretty cover of a book to come in stock to finally buy it and read it. You’ve seen the newly minted editions of the Graceling trilogy you understand. - Yes, the Graceling trilogy is definitely one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever managed to get my hands upon. It’s just, every time I look at it I want to cry because it’s just so pretty! How is it so pretty! And it’s super readable too! Let's talk series! One of my goals this year is to practice some patience and actually tackle some series. I usually tend to stay away from series because I never want to wait until the next book and my memory after reading a book is usually temporary. But part of the joy of reading are the feelings of anticipation and imagining new plots for myself. I also happen to think that series covers are absolutely beautiful. QOTD: What series has you anticipating the next beautiful cover? Thanks to @penguinteen @epicreads @tlcbooktours for the gifted copies of The Graceling Realm novels. The latest installment, Winterkeep released January 4. I love that each book can be read alone because they are written as companion books. The covers are absolutely stunning and I love the maps included in each one. I tend to remember books more by their covers than their titles or authors, which might be why rainbow shelving systems work well for me.‬ ‪2. If I like a quote enough, I can remember exactly where it appeared on any given page.‬ ‪3. But if you ask me off the top of my head what some of my favourite quotes are, my mind will go blank.‬ ‪4. I don’t have any strong preference for paperbacks or hardbacks but I do prefer to keep most of my books around the same height because they’re easier to shelve that way.‬ ‪5. I wish I had more pastel or light books in my collection.
