Nobody talk to me. HSHSJSJSJSISISKSIAJAISJSISJIS
Favorite line of dialogue. IN THIS ENTIRE GAME.
No anger in his features. NOTHING. No emotion. Just. “Come and get it shrimpy •_•.” NO EXCLAMATION POINT. IT’S A STATEMENT.
if I had a nickel for every "asexual non-human that looks like a cinnamon roll but could kill you" character I knew of I'd have two nickels... which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

Bridging the Gap, Chapter 10

And I found that arena we were in, where the Shadow King fought you in, and…where he broke you and Fern’s void ghost pendant.” Krobus looks away. He hates the memory of that moment, of the Shadow King destroying the symbol of his and Fern’s care for each other. He has no regrets about rescuing Fern save the loss of that pendant, and to think too much on it upsets him even now. “But it’s still there,” Dwarf continues, “The pieces, I mean. The other brutes didn’t take them, they’re all still there. Or they were.” “‘Were’?” Krobus asks, looking back at Dwarf. “What do mean ‘were’?”

Bridging the Gap, Chapter 9
Shadow brutes, as a rule, do not believe in an afterlife. They don’t worship Yoba, and therefore don’t believe that there’s anywhere above the clouds they get to go in order to meet him upon death. Their bodies so utterly and completely melt away when they die that they can’t imagine existing beyond that. So Krobus, therefore, is surprised when he feels like he could open his eyes. He’s surprised that he has eyes. He’s surprised that he’s capable of feeling surprised.
