me and my friend have been talking about conformitygate and Freddy Krueger today bc the ST doc drops tn at like 3am for us, and according to some of the theories there might be some meta story in there about the actors facing off with Vecna because he’s not really dead - like they did in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. anyways I brought up how the kruegergate stuff is reminding me of Dustin and Holly talking about Freddy Krueger in season 4 episode 5 at breakfast. like where he compares Vecna to FK and then explains who FK is to Holly and she gets scared so he reassures her FK isn’t real. funny how Holly ends up getting taken and having to escape Vecna (FK-like monster) in the very next season. anyways kinda crazy that that’s in there now that there’s all these other connections between season 5/the finale and WCNN, like WCNN coming out in 1994 and WSQK 94.5 … 1994, 5 years after the finale? duffers you have literally ONE final chance to surprise me

I know we didn’t get ep 9 yesterday but I’m not giving up yet

It could be the 9th episode on the 9th or maybe it’ll come with the documentary kruegergate style or maybe the 7 was for the month and the real Christmas was Christmas in July the whole time

But even if falsefinalegate doesn’t happen, that doesn’t mean conformitygate isn’t real. It just means we never get to see on screen if they escape vecnas illusion

No matter what tho, conformitygate is real to me. When I was watching the finale during the scene on top of the radio tower specifically I kept rewinding cuz i kept noticing mike randomly disappearing or climbing up multiple times (don’t even get me started on the weirdly long black screen when Steve fell). When I watched it I just thought they messed up in filming and editing and didn’t notice, but conformitygate makes so much sense

Also I finally got around to watching tfs

The cheerleading outfits are mainly orange like the graduation robes vs in stranger things they’re green like Nancy’s graduation robes
