what's the egbert/crocker/harley/english family like? :o

They are pretty cool.

The Egberts and the Crockers live next door to eachother. John is Janes cousin and their dads are twin brothers. They all get along great, have barbeques, etc.

Jake, Jade and Jadesprite (who are all siblings) are their second cousins, and are being raised by Grandpa and and Grandma Harley-English (Who are their grandparents, and John and Jane’s great uncle and aunt) on an estate outside of New Alternia. All the kids have known eachother since birth and are fairly close.

Can you please tell us about the relationship between John and Vriska in Kinstuck?

They meet their first year of highschool and become friends, and they date briefly in grade ten before the more negative/hard to deal with parts of vriskas personality become too much for John and he breaks up with her, they don't talk after that. :\

as for what the kids identify as:

Jake and Dave are bi

Dirk and Rose are gay

Jane and John are straight

Roxy’s heteroflexible

Jade is ace & aro

There are other members of those families of course and I’ll write about them later but those are the orientations of the main kids. :)

EDIT: Also, AR/Hal is Pan, Davesprite/Davis is ace and Biromanic, and Jadesprite is Straight.

I'd love to hear about your kinstuck portrayals of Vriska's relationships! If you don't mind of course.

like, romantic relationships or ALL relationships? The only people she dates in Kinstuck are John, Tavros  and Meenah (and there’s an unrequited thing where she strings Kanaya along for months and it’s not fun but that’s aside).

She becomes friends with John in Grade 9 (the kids and trolls only go to the same highschool and none of them met before that) and they date for about half of grade ten before he kind of…realizes that she has a lot of issues and cruelty in her that he just can’t deal with and he breaks up with her. Then, after years of a complicated and torrential relationship, she makes it official with Tavros in college and they date for three years off and on, and even get engaged, before Tavros calls it quits for good (but not before they both experience pretty intense personality symbiosis after being around each other for so long).

Vriska has a habit and history of making friends because of her confidence and adventurousness, only to have them break off the friendship when her less fun/less nice qualities start becoming more apparent. Examples of this include Aradia, Terezi, Tavros, John and Kanaya. Funnily enough, the only friend she keeps long-term is Meenah, who starts off as her rival (they were too similar and their strong personalities clashed, “Mean Girls” style) but ends up becoming her best and truest friend after highschool, and her girlfriend/most healthy relationship after College. :P at least for a while.
