Yahooo! Finally get to post this! So here are my contributions to @kaishinbigbang​. These pieces are part of “How to (Accidentally) Clear Kaitou KID’s Route: A Guide by Shinichi Kudo” written by my super cool and amazing partner @rinkaisha​! Extra pieces and some rambling under the cut (kind of spoilery-ish) so check out the story when you get the chance. Most of all I hope you have fun reading!!!

Ahhhh, so this was a pretty crazy ride. I wasn’t sure what to expect for this kind of thing, but I had a lot of fun making these pieces. It all stemmed from me kind of wanting to be self-indulgent for myself and seeing these two kind of in an otome game because of my own love of the games (reluctantly). And I was just really lucky that @rinkaisha​ was willing to indulge me and I had a lot of fun bouncing off ideas off of them. We took bits and pieces of kind of games we liked/knew with me having Princess Debut (the hearts) and Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns (the flowers) and Bear with Harvest Moon DS Cute (with the kind of Skye mechanic lol). So overall, there’s a lot of love in this work so I hope you guys have fun reading it!

Again, would like to thank Bear for putting up with my insanity and my air-headedness at times and being my guinea pig/support for my pieces. Would like to thank the artist chat for helping me come up with coming up with an even more obnoxious mascot, couldn’t have done that as well without y’all. Also a huge thank you to mac for hosting this event!

This is my contribution to this year’s @kaishinbigbang ! There are 4 more pictures below the cut, but they are also kinda spoiler-ish so please read the fic Ultima Ratio first if you have the time! I had the honor and pleasure to be partnered up with the lovely and talented @sokikuro​ and I’m super grateful and happy that she turned this idea into such a masterpiece. More rambling also below the cut!  

I’ve always wanted to do a medical AU, it’s just something I feel very connected to, but with so many projects going and and no really good idea I always pushed it aside. I was really reluctant about joining this year’s bigbang but eventually couldn’t say no and since this year’s theme was AUs I was like “okay, let’s finally do this”. I thought a lot about a possible plot for this one because I didn’t want this story to be about characters suffering and getting sick, there wouldn’t have been anything appealing about that, at least for me. Luckily my lovely partner @sokikuro​ was completely on board with this and the fic focused on healing instead, which made me really happy. Speaking of which, I can’t put into words how thankful I am to @sokikuro​ for turning this into such a masterpiece! She took this simple idea and turned it into such a beautiful story, filled with so much emotion and life. I adored the attention to detail and characters and how emotions were conveyed so scarily well through actions instead of words. I’m a big fan of “show, don’t tell” and I think this fic is a perfect example. I could write a long comment about the story but I’ll leave that in the comment section of the actual story. Instead, a big thank you (again) to sokikuro and my utmost gratitude for turning this event into such a fun experience and giving me the opportunity to draw some pictures for those beautiful scenes and getting to contribute something to this wonderful story.
