No one really knows why Kudra never grew up. There's plenty of theories. Was it Wei's magic? Or perhaps it was lingering magic from the spell Malken put on ShadowKnight?

Whatever the reason, though, Kudra never grew out of his hatchling body. His mind, too, seemed stuck in how a hatchling thought and reasoned despite Wei's attempts to help him mature.

It didn't matter. He was part of the clan and, as such, was cared for just like everyone else. Despite his mother leaving the hatchery he stayed behind, though she visited often, but he didn't seem to mind. Nor did the other dragons- Kudra was quick to help. He snuggled around abandoned eggs to help keep them warm, and happily played with the clan's hatchlings to allow their parents a moment to eat or drink in peace.

Saša Lazarević Kudra promovisao novu pesmu “Otkud ti”

U skadarlijskom restoranu “Dva jelena” upriličena je promocija nove pesme i spota Saše Lazarevića Kudre pod nazivom “Otkud ti”. Bolji poznavaoci noćnog života Beograda i njegovih kafana niz godina znaju i slušaju Kudru, ali se on nije medijski eksponirao, pa ga šira javnost tek sada polako upoznaje. On je pre pesme “Otkud ti”, snimio i pesmu (i spot) “Da se loše izbrisati može” koja je lepo prihvaćena, pa Kudra nije gubio vreme već je snimio i novu numeru od koje očekuje takođe dobru prođu kod publike. Na promociju su, pored predstavnika medija, došli brojni Kudrini prijatelji i kolege, a najbrojniji su bili glumci koji se pojavljuju u spotovima za dve navedene pesme. Bili su tu, između ostalih, Milica Tomašević, Luka Raco (“Da se loše izbrisati može”), Milan Bosiljčić (”Otkud ti”) i drugi. Iz sveta muzike na promociji smo zabeležili prisustvo Saška Nikolića, a pažnju je svojim dolaskom izazvala i bivša “zadrugarka” Ana Jovanović. Ovom prilikom prikazani su spotovi za obe pesme koje je, inače, komponovao Bane Vasić, a autor tekatova je Vlada 013. Kudra je najavio da sprema i nove pesme, ali sa drugim autorima, i to ne zato što je nezadovoljan pomenutima, već zato što želi da se oproba u nečemu novom i ponudi drugačiji zvuk.

Jitterbug Perfume

There seems to be a lack of excitement in my life these days. I read about adventures here and there but I am not feeling the depth of experience I had in the past with reading and adventuring. Have I gone and experienced too much that I have acclimatized to excitement? Do I need more and more each time or can I function at this point in a lower excited state?

I reflect now on my “favourite” book, Jitterbug Perfume. I have read this book 3 or 4 times in the last decade. I don’t usually re-read books because I already know the spoilers but there is always some wisdom I need to seek in reading Jitterbug. At my ripe old age of 37, about Alobar’s age when he set off from Aelfric, I feel my energy sapping away from me. The activities I used to enjoy are not as interesting anymore. It could signify a shift in my interests and the daily trudge through routine after routine is looking more and more attractive than the confusion of constant new experiences.

Is my brain telling me something? I felt more alive when I experienced new things but now I don’t feel alive nor dead. I am merely being but not in the sense of being that yogis go on about; not in the being that Buddhists exalt. I read my older posts and there are sparks there. Where are my sparks now?

The question is do I keep looking on living as Alobar desires or do I settle for a bit like Kudra, dematerialize for a few years, and re-materialize when I’ve had enough of “settling down”.

This is the exile that Jerry Zaslove was talking about. This empty space in between finishing a goal and trying to start a new one. I used to be less choosy about my experiences but as time vanishes and death creeps closer, I have to be more choosy with my experiences. What is it that I want to achieve at the end of it all? Will this blog be my only mark on the world?
