new headcanon unlocked i got from reading a spiderson fic:

the hatake all get wolf canine teeth that r much bigger than regular canine teeth, they get them as an adaptation to be closer to their wolves ninken.

probleam is, they get them when they start transitioning from childhood to preteens.

cue 10 year old kakashi with the worst teeth pain of his damn life n minato helping him with it (part one of the absolutely fluffiest fic ever), he gets lver it and completely forgets that this is Not normal for all kids to go through.

years later kujira is traning with her sensei while kakashi and iruka are in a political trip to suna, when she suddenly becomes the equivalent of overgrown toodler mumbeling to genma "hurt."

cue the absolutely most panicked genma cus he totally just fucked up his kid and "holy shit iruka is gonna KILL ME." so he goes to ask Naruto for help cus like hes the kids brother right? hes got to know whats up with her??? when he has no idea whats happening to her, they go to sakura cus like she a medinin but cant see anything physically wrong with her (kujira refuses to lower her mask) and thats how genma, naruto and sakura spend the most panicked week of their entire lives while kujira is teething.

everyone bealives kujira is completely normal if a little weird and they think they got it from iruka but no, shes complete freak just hides it better just like him while kakashi is the actual normal one in the family

miss girl is "if they dont got proof it wasnt me" mentality and somehow gets away with everything prank and lowkey treason cus her brother naruto is blind to her mischief, her best friend is a T&I torturer- *coughs* interrogator , bites people just cus (mostly when their being annoying and wanst shock factor, commun victims of this are her teammates mizu and mirai and konohamaru), flirts in her lazy drawl kind of way and WILL steal your bitch, bunch of pircings she hides behind her mask and wears her hair long simply so she cam shock people when they let it down.

iruka is proud of his little demon child 2.0 kakashi is a little more than terrified and constally asks himself if this is punishment for being a feral little thing for the first 18 years of his life
