Here to hype up Attack on Titan: Before the Fall. Just finished the series because I wanted to hurt my feelings again that SNK will indeed be over after June 9th. At least we have the last half of the final season, right? 🥲

-The premise of titans is scary enough. Add in no ODM gear and little knowledge of titans and the fear exacerbates exponentially.

-Headcanon involving time travel: Imagine Hange and their never-ending love of sharing all things titan.

-I want to know more about Naraka.

-More social issues tackled in this series. Go go go go.

-Being labeled and treated as a monster doesn’t mean you have to contribute to a self-fulfilling prophecy. You and your goals are what you make of each situation.

-Kuklo should be Ackergang confirmed. He was giving off vibes of what Mikasa’s father could have been.

-I’m still an advocate for going off and living in a forest in support of the OTP, though.

-The Underground getting some love that it deserves.

-Gloria “Boom Boom” Bernhart was killing it in the political game.

-Sometimes I make puns that hurt my own feelings.

-Sorum is the OG.

-And then they make a beautiful baby named Rosa and she’s bossing it up.

These two are the only characters in Aot to have a happy and romantic life together , so glad Isayama saw this two and was probably thinking that we deserve a little ROMANTIC LOVE

Finally got my hands on all of Before the Fall so I can read it all the way though now and this bit from the end of volume 4 is so cute

Kuklo is a better character than Eren and you can QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Yes, yes, I love Eren too, he’s pretty cool main character wise, but his most defining qualities are his ability to turn into a Titan, and his “Suicidal Maniac” nickname. He lived a 100% normal life, (except for that part where he killed 2 people at the age of 8) then, his mother died in the fall of wall Maria, where he vowed to slaughter every Titan in his path. He was 100% average until Trost fell, and even after is described as “Not special... Just the son of a man who was”

KUKLO HOWEVER, born 60 years before Eren, was born INSIDE a Titan after his mother was eaten, then thrown up once the Titan was full. He went 13 years with barely any human contact, without the knowledge of how to speak any language, going from jail cell to jail cell because he was labeled as “The Titan’s Child” and believed to be one himself. When he was 15, he nearly took down a Titan on his own with nothing but an Iron Bamboo knife, and a small container of gunpowder. He is described as having “Incredible Physical reflexes and spatial awareness” with “Ironclad wits... Flexible judgement and imagination”
