Honestly, this is my energy…. I’m just…. so incredibly shook??? Bob and Eliza both tweeted that they got married here and here, and the showrunner and other writers on The 100 have congratulated them on their twitters, but jasontodding and I are so shook… we’re in the euphoric, but utter disbelief phase… and thus we’re collecting every receipt we can find to confirm whether this is truly real life or whether we’ve like… entered a new plane of existence or something.

i watched the promo and from what i've seen there will be no kiss??? unless they edited the blarkes interaction out of the trailer. i think it will be mostly about how clarke (and octavia, bellamy, jasper) will deal about raven being possessed by alie.

this is re: the textbook question! I studied film in college and rarely ever learned about female filmmakers. unfortunately most texts including women are /specifically/ only about women -- such as Linda Seger's "When Women Call the Shots." However, there is one book that I absolutely adore called "Creative Filmmaking From the Inside Out" that includes both men and women and it's so so great! I definitely recommend both in order to cover a range of filmmakers and also learn women's film history!

Thanks so much! I hope this helps feeling-a-little-peculiar.

If anyone else has more suggestions for practical filmmaking textbooks that include women directors I would love to hear them.
