There he was.
That was good. But there was no smile on Luis’ face. He looked somewhat detached. Part if that was due to them being surrounded by others, still, because this was work. Part of it was because their last meeting had been a little… marred.
But the biggest part was because Luis had been assigned to treat Kunsel. And document everything. Because the cases of this mission were special.
A whole troop of SOLDIERs. And most with grave injuries.
“Don’t move.”, Luis briefly placed his hand atop of Kunsel’s, to reassure him somewhat, before his eyes scanned their surroundings. They were still on the landing field of the choppers, but slowly the injured would be brought into the laboratories and treatment facilities. Not in Midgar. Far out.
A few regular guards waved for them and the stretcher Kunsel was on was moved by two of them, Luis followed at the side.
“You injured your spine. It will be alright, though. I have been assigned to you, you have nothing to worry about, Kunsel.”
