“Shit, Natascha... You made this??” the executive asked in disbelief as he held the teddy bear. Of course she made it herself, how would she possibly find an orange bear with blue button eyes with an exact replica of Chuuya’s hat..??

It was stupid, but also pretty funny and cute. 

“That’s pretty impressive,” he said, still observing the bear as he sat down on the couch. “Wow... How long have you known how to sew..??” he asked, setting the bear beside him before resting his arms on the back of the couch as he waited for her to sit beside him.

Mommy told me that I have to be older and stronger but I want to know how to fight now! “ Akira said, holding on to Chuuya’s leg with his tiny hands. “ I’m strong! I can show you!” And with this he tries to lift Chuuya up, which obviously doesn’t work as he is still a child. “ I just want to be as cool as you, daddy! “

A single, copper-colored eyebrow perked as the little boy—poorly—attempted to lift up his father in an attempt to proclaim just how “strong” he is. It was actually quite humorous, making the executive chuckle softly in response. It was cute that he wanted to fight. However... he just wasn’t ready to learn. Maybe when he’s older. At this point in his life, he didn’t need to worry about violence—which was a lot coming from Chuuya Nakahara of all people.

“Okay, kid, that’s enough,” he said with a chuckle as he picked up Akira effortlessly. “You don’t wanna hurt yourself. Look, how about I teach you to fight when you’re older, eh? That way you’ll be stronger.” 

Akira had a childhood, something Chuuya never had. He wanted his son to try to live as much of a normal life as possible... At least for a child who had mafia parents.

@kunstneugiier Inquired: Masako had been drawing the entire time and when she was done with a certain picture she proudly shows it off to Lia. “ Mommy look! This is you!” The paper showed a woman who was supposed to look like Lia but due to the limited drawing ability that Masako possessed, it looked like a bunch of random lines and circles.

In pure honesty, Lia really didn’t think she could have drawn anything better. Her artistry skills were... lacking, to put it gently. However, she genuinely wasn’t too interested in trying to improve that skill.

At least Masako was trying.

“...That looks very pretty, Masako,” Lia complimented as she took the paper to observe it. She didn’t usually give out undeserved compliments, but... She was sure the little girl wanted some praise for her efforts. Besides, she took time to draw her and her specifically. That’s very sweet of the little girl...

“Why don’t you show Mama...? I’m sure she’ll love it too...” she amended.

“Think so?” the redhead asked with a contented hum, a smirk on his lips. He really liked this too... It wasn’t often he had a night and a morning free from work, so whenever he did he was sure to call up Natascha so they could spend some quality time together. 

A movie with dinner and popcorn, waiting until she fell asleep before he carried her into his room and let her sleep in his bed as he slept beside her. And when they woke up, he made her breakfast. It just seemed like the right thing to do, nothing much, really. 

“Wish it could happen more often, eh?” he added, looking back up at the woman before him.

Damn, how did he get so lucky to call someone like her his girlfriend?? He had power beyond imagination, riches and status and anything he could possibly ask for... And yet, he was in awe at one woman. 

But of course, he couldn’t let her know that or he would never hear the end of it..!!

“Nothin’, just got distracted. Forget it,” he said before pressing a kiss to her cheek and facing forward once more.

She wasn’t the best person—bloodied-wise—by far, but was still so much better than the people within the Mafia. Jezilia included. She didn’t deserve someone like Natascha... But she was too selfish to let her go.

They did what!?Why would they!? There had to have been some kind of mistake! Her stepfather had far too much pride to allow any chance of the public finding out that she’d gone missing. She couldn’t imagine him even talking to the police but her mother? Her mother might have...if she was having one of those days when she’d actually remember that she had two children.

“There - there has to be some kind of mistake!”, she back away as far as she could inside the cell she’d been held in, one hand over her heart as though the gesture may help to make it beat a little less painfully, “...how can you be sure that it was them who went to the police? I told you that my absence would be noticed...I told you...” Oh, what was going to happen to her now? She just wanted this entire nightmare to end already.

Waking up to his room being covered in rainbows was strangely not the weirdest way he’d woken before. Least it was better than being covered in blood or just the cold darkness that he feared so badly. His sketchbook laid out on the floor by his bed, the rainbow seeming to be coming out from the book.   He blinked a few dozen times, wondering if he might still be asleep of if this a new side effect of the painkillers he was on.   “...nope that’s a sketch that’s become real...wait”. Wasn’t there someone who had that as an ability? Had she been in his room? That made very little sense – his room was annoyingly guarded but maybe she had a way of sneaking past everyone? But for what?  Wait.  

Where were his bells?   He didn’t think there was any harm if anyone but he was to ring them but he also wasn’t about to take the risk either. Quickly, he shoved on a hoodie and ran out from his room, pausing just long enough to tell the guard where he was off to before sprinting to the elevator – though where the heck was he supposed to find the girl? Was there an ability out there that allowed for two people to swap their skills like this?   It was far too early in the morning for the headache that was currently building at the front of his head.
