to breathe, you think, can be as easy as it is hard.
you inhale, and sometimes the air flows as easy as it spreads. sometimes oxygen comes in as smooth as the first breath of spring and summer’s air; where you smell the flowers, the sun, and the dewdrops that come by morning and leave by night.
kind of like tetsurou. because to love, you note, works like the principles that come with breathing.
“hello,” he breathes and it starts from there.
“i love you,” he confesses as spring’s air moves through your body; and the honesty of his words in that time cradle you with such love that you forget the looming reminder that you must exhale.
and when you do, you realize that while sometimes it flows out smooth, other times it comes shaky.
“i think we have to let go,” he says, and even as you nod your head you know that it’s him who’s already steps forward in letting you go while you’re still wrapping your head around the notion of exhaling.
you miss the smell of spring and dewdrops, and you want it back. so you plead, with a broken “please,”. but it’s in that moment of desperation and vulnerability where tetsurou lays himself bare in front of you for the first time, and what you see are just broken directions in his eyes.
he isn’t lost, you realize, but when he looks at you, he’s just misguided.
and i can forgive that, you think, because a little wrong turn in the woods is just a wrong turn after all. tetsurou’s eyes look a little misty and lost, but you inhale again and pretend that the winter air of the present is still spring as you squeeze his hand and tug him away to walk a different road.
“we can try something else,” you say and for a while he says yes. so you push through the vines, the mist, and tangled leaves and keep going.
but a dead end is still a dead end, and the bite of winter’s drier air is beginning to scratch your lungs just as tetsurou’s finally becoming aware of his misdirection.
so when he lets go of your hands, you exhale. then cough, because you’ve been holding in a false sense of spring for too long and it’s taken you this long to realize that it hurts.
kuroo tetsurou telling you he isn’t in love with you anymore hurts, but holding on and the hope being onesided hurts just as much.
but after he’s left, you’re left in a clearing and debating whether you wish to inhale or exhale. you don’t do either. you hold your breath as winter rages.
and in the flurry of snow, comes kuroo tetsurou’s salvation. anastasia, you think is her name, and she is as beautiful as spring itself.
as kuroo watches her he sees an atlas in her eyes where he saw the tangled veins of a broken direction in yours. and you suppose one day you could be happy for him, but today, you think, is a day where breathing is still as difficult as it is actually letting him go.
then when you exhale, you take note of the silence that flows out with your breath. your heart thrums in your ears, but the pain that beats remains in your chest. your stomach in knots, pulsing, aching, like your lungs that weep as you will to move through the motions.
“i love her because she’s everything,” you hear tetsurou tell her, and you realize that you hate how his confession rings in the silence.
all the words that define your hurt scratch at your throat in the way that it pleads for a release, but it’s in the unexpected where you find yourself holding back.
atlas in her eyes, you think again, and nothing has ever made that much sense because for the first time in your life kuroo tetsurou looks like he’s truly been found.
“i’m sorry i don’t love you,” you remember he tells you, and the epiphany that even if his love was for you to take, it was never for you to keep. in the silence, reality ricochets and it quells the angry thoughts that tangled in your mind lives the overgrown vines of a forgotten path.
perhaps he saw roads that only lead to dead ends with you, and in time, maybe you’ll learn that it’s okay, but today, you stay in the silence and hurt.
within the winter storms, you know you could take refuge inside and let the ache come and go as shaky as your body may be, but you choose to stay in the clearing for now and listen to the silence.
“it’s you,” you know tetsurou tells her one day, and in her radiance does he see life’s direction.
“it’s you,” you know are the words she echoes his confession with and you realize that she must have been lost before him too.
and with your held breath, you slowly let it go.
and it’s as shakey as your resolve.
but the silence, is the clarity that comes in the flurry of snow where the harsh truth of life’s reality delivers its news.
that with love, pain also exists. like love, we cannot choose when to be hurt.
So... this is something me and Ana just joked around about one night but i actually want to make this into headcanons so here we are...

ABD’nin 2016 Başkanlık seçimlerinde aday olan Vermont eyaleti Senatörü Bernie Sanders de Omar’ın ofisine tebrik ziyaretinde bulundu.
ABD’de yapılan 6 Kasım ara seçimlerinin ardından Temsilciler Meclisi ve Senato üyeleri, yemin ederek Kongrenin 116. dönemindeki görevlerine resmen başladı.
İlk olarak Demokrat Vekil Nancy Pelosi’nin Temsilciler Meclisi başkanı seçildiği törende, aralarında Michigan eyaletinden Temsilciler Meclisi’ne seçilen Filistin asıllı Müslüman Rashida Tlaib ve Miesota eyaletinden Somali asıllı Müslüman İlhan Omar’ın da bulunduğu 435 üye yemin etti.
Törende, Tlaib ve Omar, 1734’te İngilizce’ye çevirilen ve ABD’nin kurucularından Thomas Jefferson’a ait Kur’an-ı Kerim’e el basarak, yemin etti.
Tlaib ve Omar’ın yemin törenine ülkelerinin geleneksel kıyafetleriyle katıldığı görüldü.

Aynı gün içerisinde, Demokrat Temsilciler Meclisi üyesi Brad Sherman, Başkan Donald Trump’ın görevden alınmasını öngören bir tasarı sunacağını açıkladı.
The Los Angeles Times gazetesinin haberine göre, Trump’a, eski FBI Başkanı James Comey’i kovarak hukuka engel olmanın da dahil olduğu birçok suçlama yönelten Sherman, “Bu tasarının sunulması için tüm nedenler mevcut. Donald Trump, her geçen gün Beyaz Saray’dan ayrılmasının ülkemiz için iyi olacağını gösteriyor.” ifadelerini kullandı.
Ankara 19. Ağır Ceza Mahkemesi’ndeki duruşmaya, tutuklu ve tutuksuz sanıklar ile avukatları katıldı. Mahkeme Başkanı, önceki ara karar gereği dava dosyasına gönderilen evrakları okudu ve ardından tanık beyanının alınmasına geçildi. Duruşmada tanık olarak dinlenen M.E.Ö., davanın sanıklarından Bekir Türk ve Ümit Çınkır’ı, lise döneminden beri tanıdığını ve bu kişilerin örgütsel faaliyetleri hakkında bilgi vermek istediğini söyledi.
Maddi imkansızlıklardan dolayı FETÖ ile tanıştığını ve mesleğe de örgütün yönlendirmeleriyle başladığını ifade eden M.E.Ö., “Şanlıurfa’da dershaneye gittiğim dönemde ’Tayfun’ kod adlı Ümit Çınkır benimle ilgileniyordu. Devletin diğer birimlerine hazırlanacağımızı bilmiyorduk. Haberim olmadan, benim bilgilerimi alarak akademiye başvurmuş.” diye konuştu.

Sınava girmeden birkaç gün önce sanık Çınkır ile Ankara’nın Mamak ilçesinde bir eve gittiğini belirten M.E.Ö., buranın FETÖ evlerinden olduğunu ve sanıklardan Bekir Türk’ü orada gördüğü kaydetti. M.E.Ö., örgüt evinde yaşadıklarına ilişkin şu bilgileri paylaştı:
“Eve girdikten sonra bir odada beklettiler. Daha sonra içeride bulunanları sırayla başka bir odaya aldılar. Aemin ve babamın üzerine yemin ettirerek, Kur’an-ı Kerim’e el bastırıp soruları gösterdiler. Bize ’Soruları dikkatli gözden geçirin, bunlara benzer sorular çıkacak.’ dediler. Sınavda bu sorular çıktı.”
Sınavı kazandıktan sonra Polis Akademisi’ne kayıt yaptırdığını anlatan M.E.Ö., okulda öğrenim gördüğü süre içerisinde örgüt yöneticilerinin Kur’an okumaması ve namaz kılmamasını tembih ettiklerini, “Okulda namazını mescitte kılma, gerekiyorsa abdesti teyemmümle al, gözlerinle namaz kıl” gibi sözler söylediğini aktardı.
Örgütün isteklerinden bunaldığını ve o saatten sonra ilişkisini kestiğini öne süren M.E.Ö., 15 Temmuz hain darbe girişiminden sonra bütün bildiklerini emniyet ve savcılığa anlattığını belirtti.
