Poll consensus was mostly yes and I haven't been sleeping due to The Curse(TM) so I went ahead and made more. Kuris with Pokemon Typings. Did the Bros before this about a month ago.

(First row: Wretched Ghost of the Attic, Winged Kuriboh, Kuribandit, Kuribabylon Second row: Clear Kuriboh, Magikuriboh, Kuribon)

Explanations below the cut:

I explained my reasoning for Wretched Ghost's Type in an ask. Basically it's the reverse of what I gave Kuriboh since Wretched Ghost is just a Normal counterpart of Kuriboh.

I was going to make Winged Kuriboh Dark/Flying, but then remembered his Type in Yu-Gi-Oh! is Fairy, so that replaced Flying. But I'd already used Dark/Fairy for Kuribee, so I flipped the order. Dark is to show his connection to the Fiend Kuriboh. So yeah.

Just assume the Dark is calling back to the Fiend-Type that Kuriboh and many of the Monsters derived from it are. Kuribandit gets it also because bandits are darker characters, and the Fighting Type is because he's Scrappy! And would probably have that as an Ability, too.

Weak justification for Kuribabylon's Rock Type. Babylon made me think of Babel, the tower. Towers are made of stone. Also Babylon is old and ruined. What are ruins usually made of? Yeahhhhh...

Also weak reasoning for Clear Kuriboh. Ice can be clear and see-through. I'm very tired lmao

Psychic is often associated with magic abilities in Pokemon. That's why I gave it to Magikuriboh.

Kuribon is Fairy-Type in Yu-Gi-Oh! but she's still related to Kuriboh, so rather than give her the Dark Type to share with him, I gave her Normal instead. Still a connection, just not the same one.

Kuribabylon

The five adorable little Kuriboh brothers combine to form...! Uh. Big, horned and angry Kuriboh. Named after the ancient city of Babylon, no less. Like the one art of Kuriboh I reviewed previously, Kuribabylon lives up to its fiend type nature moreso than most other Kuribohs, sporting a deadly unicorn horn, sharp fangs, and some vaguely Red-Eyes looking feet. Of course, the version of this card affected by The Seal of Orichalcos is probably the most fiendish a Kuriboh card has ever looked, but that version has no card equivalent. His eyes may be angry right now, but they are not full of malice. He's just ready to fight. Also, did I mention that I love the way his eyes are highlighted? They have so much life in them.

Kuribabylon is like what if we reinforce the FIEND in Kuriboh. This is a certified CREATURE. I wish he got more screen-time.

currently watching rafael vs yami yugi in my ygo duel monsters rewatch and I found out kuribabylon is anime-only... how could they waste this cute monster by not giving it a real card... shocked and disappointed 😔
