Now, being entirely serious, Saguru knows how much Kaito loves chocolates. Therefore, it is absolutely a requirement that Kaito wakes up to a full bouquet of roses. Each rose is unmistakably perfect, although there are some that seem... not quite right. The effort is there, but you can clearly tell someone had attempted at their own reproduction of the crafter's handiwork.

But that's not all. If one were to pull out each rose, their stems - although plastic - have rolled up notes around them. Each note, when outstretched, contains a small message - written straight from the detective himself.

I am thankful I decided you chase you. You were not only the best decision in my life, but the best thing in my life.

Waking up to see you by my side makes my day. I hope I can recall your cute, sleeping expression forever.

I hope that one day, our 'bickering like a married couple' becomes a reality.

-- these are just a few, with some holding cheesy lines like 'I brought you this flower so it could see what true beauty is', and 'I may not be a photographer, but I can picture is together forever.' He thought they were appropriate. Cheesy pick up lines always reminded him of Kaito, after all.

By the bouquet is a small card that reads:

'Dear Kaito.

Many people despise getting lovely chocolates. They almost seem too good to eat, but I suppose that is how I feel when I'm around you. You are too good for me, but you're perfect, and your beauty is what makes me want to keep you forever. I couldn't have imagined that I would be spending these upcoming weeks preparing myself for experiencing Valentine's day with you, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I want to thank you for everything, you have made me a better person and I guess that is also why I love you. There wouldn't be a 'me' without you around. I am not the best with words, not when they are truly from my heart, but in the simplest form, I love you. I always will, even if this world rips us apart. Please remember that.

Xaiver’s interest perked as he spotted another magician, showing a few simple tricks to some of the local kids, they were amazed enough, of course, kids made the best audience.

Although he liked their parents better

Sneaking up behind Kaito he held out a hand by his ear, making a coin appear and looking at the kids with a shocked expression “Sir, were you aware there was a coin in your ear? How in the world did it get in there”

The kids all gasped, Xaiver moving to stand beside the other magician with a small bow. “Ah... But there’s only one coin, I was going to give it to them but I think it would be better if they all got one” he’s looking to Kaito, seeing if he’d get territorial, or helped with the trick. They needed a total of three coins, and while he was aware this was very much an on the spot impromptu, it was such a simple trick if he was any good he could do it.

He held out the coin between two fingers, raising an eyebrow at Kaito; interested in what he would do.

“Do you think Akio or Raphael would mind if I asked you to move in with me for a while?”

Saguru just sort of popped the question out of nowhere. He had found Kaito, settled beside him, looked very enamoured with a book, and waited for his boyfriend to become unassuming until he said anything at all. Afterwards, the detective continued to turn the page to keep his proposition as casual as possible, and his wording was specific for a reason. Asking him to move in would provide him with a full frontal acceptance or rejection, the latter being something he would rather avoid, whereas this sort of phrasing gave Kaito the opportunity to welcome an excuse either way.

Maybe he was just a little insecure on the matter, even if he was only asking for a temporary change. “I rather like the thought of waking up to you in the morning again.”

He had planned to simply sit on the couch and let everyone discover him, but after Raphael and Anzu... The last housemate didn’t show up, it had been a few hours since he had spoken to Anzu now.

Taking in a slow breath Akio pushed himself away from the couch, heading down the hall way to find out who his last mystery housemate was.

“Excuse me...?” he was trying to remember how any pairs of shoes were at the door... He had been a bit to awestruck by Raphael though to really notice something like that, oops.

“I’m you new housemate?” well... Perhaps not new, but still. “I was uh... Looking forward to meeting you... Are you busy?” or even home, he was feeling silly already, for all he knew he was just talking to a door.

Today seemed like such a nice day to walk around Solitude. Sure the sun made her eyes hurt like hell, but there was so much negative energy on the island lately, she needed to come soak it up at the source.

“Kaito-kun?”

Wow Kaito does make a really cute girl, disguises aside. Putting her 3DS away she walked over, grinning at her. “The faceless ‘witches’ got you huh?” oh but she had such a lovely idea, all her friends were male and while she had learned Kaito wasn’t against putting on female clothing normally, it just wasn’t the same
