Strawberry Jubilee is 15th Anniversary

What was the significance of strawberry 🍓 to the latest manga issue? Was it strawberry sauce on Finnian’s hands? It turned out to be blood as the Phantomhive household fought the young earl’s enemies on Chapter 180. I realised later that it means 15. Yana Toboso’s “Artworks 1” carries the image above left and the mangaka illustrated it for GFantasy’s 15th anniversary in April 2008. “Strawberry means ichigo in Japanese, hence 1 (ichi) and 5 (go).” From the German translation of the original Japanese:

“Da es aus vielen Elementen besteht, habe ich einen simpleren Zeichenstil (Anime) gewählt.”

(Since it has consisted of many elements, I have chosen a simpler drawing style {anime}.)

A vlog from a Thai Kuroshitsuji fan/cosplayer, who had the opportunity to visit the Black Butler: Rich Black Exhibition. This video is made for us peasants who cannot go there. Amazing video. And the sound we hear from the background has been the little film Yana T and her staff made with the newly recorded voices of the original Japanese seiyuus Maaya Sakamoto and Daisuke Ono especially for the exhibition. It covers the Witch Emerald Arc, Blue Memory Arc, and Blue Revenge Arc editing the chosen manga panels. No, we won’t get a new anime unfortunately. Hopefully they change their minds soon.
