Keepsakes: Callbacks to Chapter 85

With the release of Chapter 192, we now have at least two instances where items O!Ciel purchased for his servants back in Chapter 85 (“The Butler, Taking Off”) make a reappearance at the beginning of their respective missions to the blood collection facilities.

The candy cigarettes he bought for Bard turn up in Chapter 170 near the start of the sanatorium arc…

And now, the snek satchel in which the footman totes his scaly buddies around is featured in the first chapter of the orphanage arc.

Even with the Phantomfam temporarily scattered across England, they still carry these reminders of home and the days when they were all together. It’s just a nice little detail. :’)

I'm honestly very excited and anticipating what kind of dynamic they'll have. And of course, we'll finally get to see the story of Bard.

Lau as well, even to this chapter he's still very mysterious. I hope with them on the scene in the arc now, we'll get to see what and how much exactly are their capabilities.

I doubt Lau's the type to fight physically but still 👀 we never know what's coming from him.
