Oh, nothing beats the sights back home in Yanxia. I remember when we were just kids, when Shi’o and I would row our father’s boat out down the river towards the Gates and wait for the sun to set at just the right moment. As the kami brought the sun down to the horizon, the sky would start to turn hues of orange and pink…almost as if it were burning. Then the haze would become painted gold in that twilight shrouding the Glittering Basin in a mystical aura...As if the realms of the living and of the spirits had become one. I haven’t seen that since we first left Doma…but…

I was glad that I was able to see it again with you…
