Summary: Kushina and Naruto go visit Mikoto's house so Naruto can have a playdate with Sasuke. While the two boys hang out with each other, their mothers reminisce about the old days.

But as they reminisce, Mikoto and Kushina realize that they have feelings for each other. Feelings that had laid dormant for many long years.

Summary: Mikoto meets Kushina and is instantly enamored with her.

idk i just want these gay girls to be happy and disaster lesbian mikoto is just so fun to write. she is unapologetically a simp for kushina and kushina capitalizes on that.

Mikoto falls in love in a matter of seconds and every future she once saw for herself changes with it.

The girl with crimson red hair smiles at her brightly and Mikoto activates her sharingan because she wants to remember this for the rest of her life.

“Wow! Your eyes are so cool! They match my hair, dattebane!” Her smile grows even wider and she leans forward and Mikoto knows without a doubt her face matches the girl’s hair color. Everything about her is so lovely, especially her cute little verbal tic.

She goes to say something, perhaps an introduction, but instead what comes out is, “My eyes are nothing in comparison to how pretty your hair is.”

The girl flushes and scratches the back of her head, still close, and her eyes light up and she’s so bright that it looks like Amaterasu-sama herself has blessed her.

“You really think so?” Her voice is hesitant, as if she thought Mikoto was playing a silly prank.

Mikoto doesn’t even have to think to reply. “Yes, undoubtedly.”

The girl looks at her intently before she nods and throws her arms around her and Mikoto kind of just melts into it. It’s just so nice.

She pulls away and Mikoto tries not to let the disappointment show on her face.

“I’m Uzumaki Kushina, ‘ttebane! And you’re going to be my best friend!” The girl- Kushina says and Mikoto nods her head because what else can she do in the wake of the girl she loves so much already. “C’mon, now it’s your turn to introduce yourself!”

“Uchiha Mikoto.”

“You and me, Miko-chan, are going to be the most amazing best friends. I can just tell!” She throws her arm around her shoulders and begins walking off and Mikoto just follows at her side, something that's a reoccurring pattern in the future.
