On the fourth day of #Navratri-poojan, the form of Durga, #Kushmanda Devi is worshiped.
On this day the mind of the seeker is situated in the '#Anahata' cycle. Therefore, on this day she should be engaged in the work of worship, keeping in mind the nature of Kushmanda Devi with a very pious and unsteady mind.
When the universe did not exist, Kushmanda created the universe. Therefore, these are the initial forms of the universe, the #Adishakti.
Mother has eight arms. Hence, they are also known as #Ashtabhuja Devi.
Her seven hands have Kamandal, Dhanush, Arrow, Lotus-flower, Amritpurna Kalash, Chakra and Mace respectively. In the eighth hand there is a Japamala giving all the siddhis and funds. The lion is his conveyance.
She is worshiped as Kushmanda Devi due to her slow, light laughter causing the egg ie the universe. In Sanskrit language Kushmanda is called #Kumhar.
