Love Letters and Sour Suckers
Here it is @yandere-sim-headcanons! Enjoy~! Sorry it’s so short!
Kuu Dere didn’t often get upset. Even if she did, it never really lasted very long. Not many people in school took note of her, she was never really bullied, usually just ignored.
Recently, however, she could hear snide comments come from Yui Rio and the rest of the bully’s friends. Boring, emotionless, stuck up, antisocial. She didn’t know why the words got to her so much, but they did.
Did everyone really consider her an antisocial, emotionless prick?
Apparently not, as soon after checking her locker she found an anonymous note that had one simple sentence on it: “Feel better soon, Kuu-senpai!”
It surprised her that whoever had written the note had been able to tell she was upset. She couldn’t display emotion at all, how did they know? The only way to ask them was to figure out who they were. She had never felt determination such as this.
To be fair though, she had never felt determination at all.
She started by studying the handwriting. It was very flowing, using cursive with many curls and swirls. Only the Occult Club ever used cursive, so it was most likely one of the members. Due to the fact they referred to her as Senpai, it could either be Daku, Supana, Kokuma, or Chojo.
“Sensei?” She approached her teacher, who was currently hunched over grading the Basu sisters’s papers. “I got an anonymous note, do you recognize the handwriting?” She handed the paper to her teacher, who analyzed it before giving it back to her.
“It looks like Chojo Tekina’s handwriting, why?”
“I’d like to thank him. Thank you Sensei.” She left the room, chewing on a few strands of her hair. Chojo Tekina, huh? She had seen him eating some sour candy during lunch…perhaps he’d like some in return for the note he gave her.
She saw him walking out of the school next to Supana and Daku, quietly nodding along to their conversation. Leaving Mai’s side, she ran up to the shy boy, tapping his shoulder. She winced when he jumped, before he turned around to face her.
“O-Oh, Kuu-senpai..! Do yo-ou need something?”
“Thank you for the note.” She handed him a lemon flavored lollipop, before dashing off in order to catch up to Mai. She didn’t notice the beam on her best friend’s face, or the incoherent stuttering of the red-faced Chojo.
The next day she got another note in her locker, one that made her smile (which in turn caused her locker neighbor, Inkyu Basu, stare in confusion).
“Will you meet me at the fountain during lunch?”
