random YusuMako/YuyuMoon things I want to write or at least attempt to write when I have both time, motivation, and possibly someone beta-ing it for me:

> Rei getting increasingly sensitive to all of the demons surfacing in the human world after the destruction of the barrier, and, assuming the stronger ones are more dangerous, goes after them whenever one is nearby and leaves significant enough damage for Mukuro to send Hiei to investigate. Yusuke tags along with Hiei because it’s in his area, Makoto and Rei just so happen to be walking home from hanging out with one another, Rei senses Hiei and flips, getting Mako to transform along with her, and the pairs square off with one another until the senshi decide to make a hasty retreat (although Jup has to take some MAJOR convincing to stop fighting Yusuke before she’s dragged away) Cue to a day or so later, Mako is discussing the issue with Usagi while going to get a late dinner together, Usagi insists they stop off at a new ramen stand she’s been fond of, and unfortunately, Yusuke doesn’t have a magical alter ego like she does, so Mako immediately recognizes him as the asshole she fought and has to take all her effort not to flip the stand over and punch hum again

there would also probably be Koenma explaining the history of the senshi to Yusuke and the others and how they fit into the YYH-verse (probably because they needed a back-up plan for the upcoming dark ages after Koenma’s seal energy was wasted with the battle against Sensui, so they had to let the girls be reawakened and do their thing), along with Koenma not-so-subtlety nerding over Tuxedo Mask

> A thing in the far, far future, once Crystal Tokyo is up and running, where Jupiter acts as an ambassador to the Demon World (who’ve they’ve had tenuous relations with during the centuries) and getting to know Yusuke over time. They bond over growing up in the same time period (something Mako didn’t expect because he looks a lot younger than he should be) and having similar interests (he even invites her to spar on a few occasions) and also quietly mourning the ‘normal’ people (like Keiko, Kuwabara, Asanuma and that-dude-who-was-Mako’s-friend-with-the-umbrella-who’s-name-I-forgot) they have loved and lost during time and realizing how much it sucks to age slowly

also because I am indulgent and trashy, I imagine them having trysts together and Mako unexpectedly getting pregnant from it (because ?? it’s been at least a hundred or so years?? stuff should have dried up by now?? so H O W) and her having to pass off the kid as an orphan she’s adopted over there because the scandal of sleeping with someone you’re supposed to be meeting with for diplomatic reasons would be too much
