So i want to ask for the Fell brothers background info? How they were and are living then and now? How and Why did they become mercenarys? Can u tell me what Kind of work there are actually doing there exactly (killing? Fighting? Protecting? Spying? Finding missing/wanted people? Information dealing? Helping old prople to cross the road and carrying their grocerys? Ok the last one was a joke but who knows~ not me yet xD) ?? What was the kost interesting/funny work related thing that happened to them?? *w* !!
What do they like to do aside from work in their spare time? Favorite Foodz/snacksnsckz or they more into drinking? (im totally not plannimg something 6w6 nope nope not me) Also how is their brotherly relationship??
On to the mercenaries then! >w< (I'm debating having the swapfells included as mercenaries, but for now it's just the fells)
The fells were born and raised to be mercenaries. Their father was the previous leader, and he raised his sons to be just as ruthless and dangerous as he was. The only life the fells have known has been of violence.
As Mercenaries, they do all kinds of jobs, though most typically they're hired for bodyguard work. Sometimes people will come to them, asking for them to "take care" of someone, and they'll take the job with no issue. As mercs, they aren't assassins by any means, but they're cheaper than going to an assassin guild, (and honestly, less likely to kill the client that hired them).
Honestly, they'll do any jobs that someone will pay them for. They're just the best at the more violent ones. (So yes, if someone came and asked them to take care of their elderly grandmother, they'd do it if they were paid well. Edge would probably do the job perfectly tbh)
Red
Red is the elder brother of the fells, though people don't usually think that. He's Edge's right hand, and he doesn't mind doing the more violent jobs. Red and Edge don't typically have to go on jobs themselves, but Red doesn't mind taking a job or two to let off some steam.
He hates bodyguarding jobs and highly prefers the ones where he gets to go scare the shit out of some unfortunate soul, or even kill someone. Red's no babysitter, and he likes to make that very clear.
Red cares for Edge more than you'd think, and he won't stand for anyone disrespecting him. Regardless of how they treat each other, these brothers are the most protective of each other. Red might be a dick, but if he cares for you he won't let anyone treat you wrong.
The most interesting/funny job
Red was hired by a noble who'd loaned out money to a man so he could start up his own business. The man had been avoiding pay for some time, so Red was being sent to collect. He figured it would be easy, go rough up a poor guy and have him cough up the money, or take him and all his belongings back to the noble. Simple, right?
He got to the poor guy's house and when he knocked on the door, the guy answered. Red was about to do his usual schtick, when the guy asked something Red never thought he'd be asked.
"Oh, you must be the escort, right?"
Red didn't waste any time getting the money out of the guy. He sure as hell didn't want to be around that place for longer than he needed.
Dislikes
- People getting in his space
- White chocolate
- Overly cheery people (He doesn't trust people who are too happy)
Hobbies
Red actually likes reading, but he doesn't do it around others. He doesn't want anyone to know about anything he likes that could be construed as weak in any way. Red reads non-fiction and murder mystery novels.
He also likes drinking. He'll take any opportunity to go out for a drink.
Edge
Edge is the current leader of their mercenary guild (Haven't come up with a name for it yet, feel free to suggest names!)
He's intimidating, many people fear him and his wrath. Though honestly, Edge has a very good handle on his temper. He's far more forgiving than you would think, but only to those who he believes deserve it.
Edge hates how lazy Red is, and on the outside it seems like he hates his older brother. In reality, Edge just wants Red to do better for himself. Red was the only compassionate one in Edge's life (As surprising as that sounds), and behind closed doors, Red was always the ideal older brother. As Edge grew up, the two became more distant, but that bond remains.
Edge rarely does jobs himself, as the leader he's typically the one assigning the mercs in their guild to jobs and negotiating payment with the clients. Most jobs can just be taken by mercs themselves from the job board, but there are some clients who speak directly with Edge about who should be assigned to the job. (Typically the nobles or particularly high paying clients do this)
Most interesting/funny job
Edge was once hired by a nobleman's daughter to be her date to a gathering. She'd wanted to scare off a suitor who was bothering her, and Edge believed he was the best suited for the job. (He wasn't confident in the other mercs' manners or etiquette).
Safe to say the suitor was sufficiently scared off, and Edge had a nice enough time. He did not accept her offer for a second date.
Likes
- Organization
- Soft blankets
- Puzzles
- Wine (a nice red wine is his favorite)
Dislikes
- Tardiness
- Yelling
- Most sweets (He makes exceptions for some chocolate dishes)
Hobbies
Model making. If Edge has time between work, he spends it working on his models. He makes houses, animals, people, anything really.
Okay, I got a fun one for mmn let's say, error, ink, edge, red, nightmare and dream.
Shoot, their clothing just made a ripping sound, and part of their clothing is about to fall completely off...how will they react to solve this
Oop, ripped clothes!
Error
Error groans in frustration. He finds where the rip is and patches it up with his strings temporarily. If he isn't too busy, he'll go and change, but if he is busy at the time, he leaves it like that. His clothes already have some of his strings as decoration, so no one will notice right away.
Ink
Ink goes to Error to ask him to fix it. Error is irritated because in the time Ink took to come to Error, he could have gone and gotten changed. Ink wants Error to fix it though!
Error fixes it so he stops bothering him.
Edge
Edge seethes in silent frustration. He excuses himself from what he was doing to go change and then takes the article of clothing to get tailored. It's irritating that he has to deal with this.
Red
Red looks at what's ripped. It looks like something's falling off? Well if it's not a major part of his clothing, he'll just rip it off and continue on with his day. If it is something major, he'll grumble and go change, ripping the article of clothing up in frustration and tossing it into the fire. Stupid clothes and their stupid shitty stitching.
If it's a favorite of his, he'll toss it aside to bring it to a tailor later. And then he'll forget about it until Edge reminds him.
Nightmare
Nightmare finds the rip and huffs in irritation. Assuming he has the time he'll just go change and have the clothes sent to a tailor. If he doesn't, he can use his magic to hold it together until he can change, but his mood will be significantly worsened.
Dream
Dream is startled and embarrassed, even if it didn't rip in an embarrassing place. He excuses himself to change, and if he particularly liked the article of clothing, he'll have it sent to a tailor. If not he just has it tossed out or donated, depending on where the rip is.
Thank you for answering my previous ask. It is now morning and I've read the rest of your post about kingdomverse? (I think I read.them al at least XD)
So another question. I saw in your list of charaters that the UT, US and UF brothers where all in the royal guard. How did that happen?
And why is Blue the captain instead of Papyrus or Edge. Who I think would do a good job as well?
Well I've already explained how Blue and Stretch came to be in the Royal Guard! Blue had wanted to join since he was young, and Stretch joined alongside him so he could support his brother!
The story for Classic and Pyrus is similar, Pyrus was planning on joining and he insisted Classic join as well. Classic doesn't like disappointing his brother, so he joined with the intentions of just being a sentry or regular patrol Guardsman. Pyrus initially wanted to be Captain, but after making friends with Blue and Stretch, he figured he'd be content with Blue being Captain too!
As for the UF brothers, Red and Edge actually aren't Guardsmen! Red and Edge are mercenaries! They've met Classic and Pyrus, and are acquaintances, but they don't work together. Red and Edge became mercenaries because it catered to their skills and paid well.
Pyrus would make a good Captain, you're right! I'm sure if Blue hadn't joined the Guardsmen, Pyrus would have taken the position. Pyrus is a bit too soft on others, and that's where Blue has the upper hand. Blue pushes everyone as hard as he pushes himself, and he rarely goes easy on anyone.
