Did Killer and cross ever spar with the Captain of the guardmen, blue? How was the outcome?
Can i have some background infos on dust, horror and blue, like what their past was like and anything important? I also wanna know what they preferred food/Drinks/snacks are? Can they Cook/bake (horror can i know) How did they learn, who did teach them or did they selftaught? Any Hobbys they do in their spare time??
Yes, Killer and Cross both have sparred with Blue! Cross and Blue used to primarily train with each other before Killer became a Royal Guard. Blue is very skilled, and he can certainly keep up with the two for a time! Blue is a heavier hitter than Killer, and he's more agile than Cross, so he's certainly bested them at least once or twice.
They spar with him on occasion still, if they're not sparring with each other.
Dust's Past
Dust was an orphan. He was bought from the slave trade by an assassin's guild, and trained to be one of them. He was treated poorly, and hated every moment of it. To cope with the abuse he received, he ended up hallucinating a brother he never had.
His "brother" convinced him to escape, to get revenge on the guild. Dust used the skills the guild taught him and managed to kill the leader of the guild himself, escaping before he was caught. He laid low for some time before he started trying to find other work.
He became interested in alchemy and medicines, and he picked it up rather quickly. At one point, he met Horror, who'd wandered into the shop Dust had set up. Horror seemed lost and was having difficulties explaining what he wanted. Dust was patient and helped Horror. He'd needed something for headaches.
The two became friends as Horror became a regular customer, and when Dust expressed his anxieties over the guild (after explaining his past), Horror used what influence he had as Royal Executioner to get Dust employed as a member of the Royal Court.
Dust isn't a picky eater. He has a strong distaste for fish of any kind though. He has a soft spot for hard candies. Dust can't cook complicated dishes, but he can do simple recipes on his own. Horror has tried to teach him, but Dust can't seem to get the hang of it.
Dust's hobby is his work. It did start out as a hobby of course. He has his own garden where he grows his own herbs for his alchemy, and quite a few books on the subject as well.
Horror's Past
Horror grew up in a village that was practically cut off from the rest of the Kingdom due to the actions of Nightmare. Nightmare's influence and power over the Kingdom left many permanent marks, and tainted the land around Horror's home village.
This caused creatures of shadow, fueled by negativity and what remnants of Nightmare's magic there was, to continue to form and terrorize scattered villages around the borders of the Kingdom. Horror was born in one of these villages, and was raised in fear of these creatures.
One day, a creature of shadows broke into the village and attacked the people. Horror's brother died while protecting the villagers, and Horror was severely injured. When he'd finally recovered, Horror made himself the protector of the village in his brother's stead. He would leave the village to the surrounding forests and slaughter any and all hostile creatures.
Eventually, Blue came to the village with his Guardsmen in tow, intending to help provide protection for the village. He saw Horror's skill and how much he'd been struggling, and made an effort to befriend him. Eventually, when Blue was going to head back to the Capitol, he offered to bring Horror with him.
Horror agreed. He didn't like the way the villagers treated him, and Blue was his first friend.
Horror will eat anything and everything. He was the main provider in his village, and the creatures of shadow had pushed out nearly all wildlife around the village. Nightmare's magic had made the soil nearly impossible to grow anything in.
Horror is grateful just to have food without worrying about when his next meal will be. He likes meat the most, which is kind of funny because he really likes animals.
Horror is a good hunter, so I suppose that would be his hobby. Hunting and butchering. He's good at axe throwing too. Horror hasn't really explored any other options for activities.
Blue's Past
Blue grew up in the Capitol with his younger brother, Stretch. From a young age he'd dreamed of being a part of the Guardsmen. The gleaming armor, the strength, protecting others, all of it appealed to him. He'd always wanted to be a Guardsman! (Well, he wanted to be a prince first, then he wanted to be a Guardsman.)
Blue pushed himself harder than anyone else. He had to if he wanted to keep up. Blue trained day and night, but he was struggling. He didn't have as much magic as the other Guardsmen, and needed to rely purely on his physical capabilities.
Stretch saw Blue's struggles, and he wasn't about to let him fall. Stretch joined Blue's training, helping to push Blue by also pushing himself. The two brothers kept each other up, and Blue eventually passed his training with flying colors. Stretch joined the Guardsmen alongside Blue.
It didn't take long for Blue to rise through the ranks, becoming the youngest Captain in the Guardsmen's history.
Blue can cook rather well, and he always tries to make the things he cooks healthy. Though, Blue loves anything raspberry flavored. It's his weakness. Blue is a jack of all trades kind of monster, and he seems to be good at anything he tries!
Who catches the bugs and releases it, who squished it, and who is to scared to do anything. .and how would to go about it (like catch with glass? Or hands? Smack it with shoe. Or book ect)
Aw this is cute XD
Catch and Release: Dream, Nightmare, Horror, Ink
Squish: Killer, Error, Cross, Dust
Too scared: Blue
More details under the cut!
Catch and Release
Dream
Dream will find a piece of paper or a glass to catch the bug to let it outside. Dream believes every life has a purpose. He'll stop Cross from killing a bug to save it. He does get nervous around some bugs, but for the most part he'll try to save all of them.
Nightmare
Nightmare doesn't particularly care if someone squishes a bug, but if it's his choice he will catch it and take it outside. He'll usually use his hand to do it, he's not scared of the tiny creatures, and he's read so many books on creatures that he likely knows exactly what bug it is.
He's spent time telling Killer random facts about a particular bug he found in his office while he was busy getting it outside. Killer thought it was quite endearing.
Ink
Ink is more of the kind to catch it and keep it around for a while. He names it, runs around to introduce it to his friends, shows it his paintings, and talks to it for the whole day. Then he promptly forgets about it and the bug releases itself.
If someone asks him about the bug, he'll ask "What bug?" So long Clark, you were a good friend for the day.
Horror
Horror is more similar to Ink actually. He'll let the bug crawl onto his hand and just watch it. It's interesting. Look at it go, just trying to survive and live to the next day. Horror can relate to you, little bug. He keeps it with him for a while. He's also given it a nickname, and he goes to the library to ask if there is a book with his new friend in it.
Horror is going to release him of course, but not before he knows where to do it. What if it likes trees more than dirt? What kind of food does it eat? Horror doesn't want it hungry. He's attached to the dear, and he gets a little sad when he has to release it.
Squishes it
Killer
Killer will squish it if it bother's him, but for the most part he'll leave it alone. Since Nightmare seems to know a lot about bugs, He'll probably take it to Nightmare to ask about it if it looks interesting enough.
Cross
Cross... isn't a big fan of bugs. They creep him out, so he's not too eager to keep them around. If it's a friendly looking bug, like a butterfly or ladybug, he'll catch and release it, but others he'll just squish.
Error
Error doesn't like bugs. It's in his space, it needs to get out of his space, and if it won't do it on it's own, he'll do it for them.
Dust
He doesn't care. He'll leave it alone honestly. If he has to he'll squish it, or if it's annoying or in his space, but otherwise he doesn't care. It's a bug, so what?
Too scared
Blue
Look, even the Great and Valiant Blue has fears! It's perfectly normal to be afraid of things! But the implication that he, Blue, Captain of the Guardsmen, is at all in any way afraid of a creature less than a fraction of his size, is ridiculous!
He's on this stool purely for... Observation! Yes... Observation. No he will not be coming down until the bug is removed.
I've come up with another question, this time for everyone.
Does anyone own a pet? If so, what is it, and what is their name?
Not a lot of the Cast have animals actually, but I've debated having Killer eventually get a pet! I'll put the ones who do have a pet under the cut!
Edge has a pet! Edge has a Paveline (Pav-eh-line), a mostly feline creature with features of a peacock! There are normal cats and dogs in this universe, but there are many fantastical creatures too, and Paveline are one of them!
He calls her Monarch. She has a red coloration, as a Paveline can come in various colors rather than just the typical peacock colors. She's a very prideful creature, and she and Red do not get along all that well. She's larger than your typical house cat, and she loves fruit.
Stretch and Blue have a dog, a Pomeranian named Sweets. She's a very well trained, intelligent pupper! Stretch takes her for walks daily, and Blue has her food homemade. Sweets likes playing dress up. They're debating getting another pup to add to the family.
Comic feeds a Fae Shephard that he found in the forest, but he doesn't really own it. A Fae Shephard is a dog-like Fae creature, which typically have elemental magic. A Fae Shephard may go by other names, depending on the breed of dog it resembles.
Fae animals are best left to the Fae, but he found it when it was a pup and he couldn't just leave it. He took it home and fed it until it was big enough to live on it's own.
It visits him now and then, and he feeds it while it hangs around. It's usually gone by the time Pyrus gets home. Comic calls it Shep. He's not sure how Shep gets around, but he's sure no one else has seen Shep. Maybe she teleports?
Shep is very quiet, almost unnaturally so, but she is a Fae animal so Comic isn't too surprised.
Thank you for answering my previous ask. It is now morning and I've read the rest of your post about kingdomverse? (I think I read.them al at least XD)
So another question. I saw in your list of charaters that the UT, US and UF brothers where all in the royal guard. How did that happen?
And why is Blue the captain instead of Papyrus or Edge. Who I think would do a good job as well?
Well I've already explained how Blue and Stretch came to be in the Royal Guard! Blue had wanted to join since he was young, and Stretch joined alongside him so he could support his brother!
The story for Classic and Pyrus is similar, Pyrus was planning on joining and he insisted Classic join as well. Classic doesn't like disappointing his brother, so he joined with the intentions of just being a sentry or regular patrol Guardsman. Pyrus initially wanted to be Captain, but after making friends with Blue and Stretch, he figured he'd be content with Blue being Captain too!
As for the UF brothers, Red and Edge actually aren't Guardsmen! Red and Edge are mercenaries! They've met Classic and Pyrus, and are acquaintances, but they don't work together. Red and Edge became mercenaries because it catered to their skills and paid well.
Pyrus would make a good Captain, you're right! I'm sure if Blue hadn't joined the Guardsmen, Pyrus would have taken the position. Pyrus is a bit too soft on others, and that's where Blue has the upper hand. Blue pushes everyone as hard as he pushes himself, and he rarely goes easy on anyone.
