With the stuff that came out about the new movie, I started to think about Barnacles and Kwazii more, and how I used to ship them so hard when I was younger, and unintentionally fell in love with this ship again lol, so obviously it was the first thing I drew when my arm was feeling better

I know I’m not really vocal on here, but I have something to say on the whole Barnacles and Kwazii fighting because of amnesia thing.

And I’m only gonna say this once.

If Barnacles and Kwazii do end up fighting in the new movie, I won’t be watching it (I mean, the film may not display the shit that the synopsis says it will, but who knows?). I just don’t personally think I’ll ever be ready for this amount of angst; it’ll probably give me a panic attack.

It just feels way too out of character for the franchise in general (a children’s franchise especially), and certainly way out of my comfort zone (for me, personally).

Again, if they do fight, I’m probably going to ask myself - what the fuck have the Octonauts come to?

Anyone who sees the film if / when it releases in English, please let me know if they do have a fight (again, the actual film might not have any of the gory details that are stated in the English translated synopsis - but what do I know?), because if they do, I won’t be watching it.

I think I’ll just stick to my Aeseganora AU, thank you very much.
