Forum on the Socio-Economic Impact of Technology - Montreal - September 21, 2013

  This forum provides a practical view of the global socioeconomic impact of IT for community managers, digital marketers, social entrepreneurs, and business leaders.  Speakers include TED fellow and founder of AppAfrica, Jon Gosier, as well as executives from Mozilla, Microsoft, the National Bank of Canada and IRDC.  Entrepreneurs, innovators, regional experts, software developers, philanthropists, investors, and marketers from the U.S., Quebec, Canada, Haiti, Nigeria, Cameroon will share tips in how to identify global opportunities for business and social entrepreneurship, and how to promote your own brand in this exciting emerging field.  They will also discuss case studies based on their own experiences in North America, Africa and the Caribbean.
