I just realised that the reason why I loved the "Because I have you to treat me to meals" scene so much was because it's the first time we see Peach be selfish with Thee.

Until now Peach has been going along with Thee's willfull behaviour to meet him where he is at but also to give him a new perspective on life and how to live. With each interaction with Peach we see Thee become more sociable, attentive to social problems and understanding of Peachs viewpoint. I think Peach realised it more keenly this episode too in terms how much Thee is willing to change, give in to Peach and how he genuinely likes spending time with Peach. It's that affirmation and confidence which resulted in Peach being able to tease and remark on it knowing that he can be selfish with Thee because the person infront of him accepts him for who he is.
