wait if someone's running around in kyle's body (i still haven't processed that revelation btw, wtf do you mean he's been body snatched for almost 20 years??), does that mean he can come back into it like mr anderson and maddie did theirs?? did he not actually die, and someone forced him out of his body after he was operated on and actually recovered from his injuries??
also, what would that be like for a teenager to enter a version of his body that's 2 decades older and has been living a whole life as him or maybe even under a different identity. janet was only in maddie's body for a few weeks, and she is very clearly not handling the aftermath of getting her body back very well with the hallucinations and emotional stress. now imagine that stretched out over 20 YEARS. lots to think about. and that's assuming the show doesn't go "well actually your assumption about the body snatching is wrong, here's what actually happened"

Finally got around to watch the ep, very peak but uhm wait a minute. Guys. Wait guys why is the quinda chart dropping guys. Guys why are we only getting crumbs of quinda. Guys???
(ok im sorry im gonna get my quinda complaints out first so just bear with me)
I get they can’t just like slap a quinda scene just anywhere and they have a bunch of other stuff they wanna get to first but they can give us another straight ship. Yeah okay whatever I’ll take the fucking L it’s not like the sapphics lose all the fucking time it’s fine I don’t care 💔 sorry I’m being dramatic lol but I. I do not care about Diego. Like even in the slightest bit. Honestly I couldn’t even remember if he showed up in season 3 before this, I’m pretty sure he did he’s just uh forgettable to me and honestly I thought for a sec they were gonna forget about the Diego and Claire thing they were incredibly obviously setting up from how little he showed up for a while lol. Like we barely know this guy. Can’t we spend this time focusing on other characters :/ Uhm good for u ig Claire… can we move on… also wait im just now remembering, isn’t Diego in college?? How old is he??? Cus Claire is what 17 or 18 and this dude’s in college?… kinda icky how old is he guys 😬 who in the writing room said we needed another straight couple and then conjured up Diego just for this. Cus like what else has he done. Fire them please. BUT ANYWAY BACK TO QUINDA as I was saying ik they can’t just write a scene in just anywhere but I mean putting barely anything for them?? And they just kissed???? They’ve exchanged maybe a sentence or two and other than that they’ve just been near each other??????? Okay. Not to mention there was a very perfect spot for a scene actually with Quinn comforting Rhonda after the puddle incident but ok I’ll shut up about that now. I just, idk am feeling a bit disappointed. We got great scenes of them before this season (though tbf most of those were about Quinn’s arc/journey but still) and then they kiss and they kinda are just doin nothing now. Like. Like what happened I thought we just finally hit the emotional peak and would yknow get to see them together. Guess I was mistaken :/ to some it may seem like me and others are complaining over nothing or smth but the thing is this happens to so many sapphic ships. So many are just put in a show to check off a diversity box (not saying this is what school spirits is doing just explaining why this is upsetting) and then completely sideline them, barely develop them before or after, and are just generally often not as regarded or thought of as highly as straight or gay relationships if that makes sense. And that’s really upsetting to people who genuinely want to see sapphic ships portrayed, and why I’m feeling pretty sad about this. Because I thought school spirits was going to be different, I thought they were building up this beautiful relationship slowly (slowly to us lol it’s been like a week maybe a few for them) to then give us something great when they’re together. But now we’re barely getting anything. And I’m hoping, I’m REALLY hoping, that I’m wrong about this and they will deliver in the finale and in a hopeful season 4. I will absolutely eat my words gladly if they do that because I want that, I really want them to do this sapphic ship good. But at the moment we’ve been given barely anything after a great set up and payoff (immediate payoff that is cus we haven’t seen the rest of the payoff :/) so it feels a lil like they just gave it to us and want us to shut up now. Which again I hope I’m wrong, cus idk why they would go about writing such great friendship and scenes between the two before just for there to be nothing after. So I hope I’m wrong. Long live Quinda 🫡
okay ik I just said that was my section on quinda and all BUT THIS IS RQ AND TRANSITIONS INTO OTHER THOUGHTS I PROMISE 🙏 so the crumbs we did get this time were kinda better than last time? So that’s good at least? Basically just them hanging out potentially playing piano together? I’m gonna make another post like uh after I post this one lol on what I hope they do with that but uh anyway, and then during Wally and Rhonda’s talk when he asks if she would leave if she got her door and after she says fuck yeah Wally asks “You would leave all this? Us? Quinn?” and she kinda falters. Oh. Oh that one hurt. Also Wally clocking what they are I see that lol. Which gives me hope that if Wally notices something between the two you’ll continue to give us content of them right 🥺 and it hurts a bit that Rhonda would just leave them all and especially Quinn but I mean I get it, she’s been there for 60 years she more than deserves to leave yknow. And then she talks about how she doesn’t think they’re meant to stay there and they all deserve to leave, she wants them to all be able to leave together (or just in general I don’t remember) oh sweetie 💔 also Wally having a sister is interesting, I wonder if that’ll be relevant at all or if they’re just giving us some tidbits.
moving on completely from quinda to Rhonda and Wally’s talk, I really loved this scene. A little funny how she like just came out of the shadows lol but oh did this scene hit. I dunno if we’ve ever really had a scene like this with these two, like we had the one with Wally and Charley, but I really enjoyed this scene. “Wherever we go, whenever we go, I will really miss you.” “The football star, Wally Clark?” “Wally Clark, my friend.” (Idk if this exactly what they said cus I can’t find any full gifs or other ppl quoting it so this is just from my memory) OUGH OUCH OUCH OW OH MY BABIES 💔 season 1 Rhonda would likely never admit this and I’m so proud of her </3 the friendship between the core 3/4 is just rrrgh we haven’t super seen it in awhile and oh I love them :(( they’re all here together reluctantly but they still choose to bond and become genuine friends with each other :(((((
and good lord when Charley found about Wally ‘crossing over’. Genuinely tearing up. Heartbreaking. Heart wrenching even. “He would have told us…” That was his best friend :( and he didn’t even say bye :(( and he’s just gone :((( oh my core 3. Please can they all hug. Yes you too Rhonda get in here. Honestly wasn’t expecting to be affected by Wally ‘crossing over’ so much, cus don’t get me wrong I like him I am just not very attached to male characters very deeply like ever lol, and it was mostly cus of how like Charley and the others were reacting that made me sad but I was also sad in general for Wally. Like he’s doin this to try and help Maddie and Simon cus it might be the only shot they got :( he wants to help them, and then not telling anyone he’s leaving when he might not be able to ever see them again and just saying “I’ll see you later.” WALLY U GET UR ASS BACK HERE RN. Also like was Mr. Martin surprised or smth when he crossed over cus I thought he like nodded to Wally that now was the time to do it? I unno.
Anywho speaking of Charley, last name revealed! Kitani!! (I think, based off how other ppl are spelling it) very pretty. Yay now the core 3 all have last names!! Quinn and Yuri next? 🥺 And smth about Sandra recognizing his name. Like yeah, they went to school together. She didn’t really know him, but she knew him. She remembered him. And like. Do you think Charley ever thought he vaguely recognized her when she came in to the school for Maddie. Did he ever hear the name Sandra and think of a girl he might’ve vaguely knew or passed in the halls. I mean she prob looks different from highschool and I think she said she was in senior year when he died but idk. Was just thinking bout it. So glad Sandra believed Maddie btw phew lol
Kyle I’m so sorry u just got ur body back and now this crazy lady is yelling at u. He looked so fearful poor boy pls someone help him out lol. oh yeah uhm to address the elephant in the room, WHERE IS SIMON??? I’ll be real I kinda didn’t realize he was missing the whole ep until after cus there was just so much happening lol. I’m very excited and intrigued to see what’s in where the doors seem to lead? I’m guessing Simon and Wally are there which yay!! But also, potentially we get to see Dawn and Janet again? Please?? 🥺 I miss them, and either Janet anticlimacticly leaving in the beginning was to lead up to seeing her again here, smth with her actor, or uh bad writing ig idk. I’m hoping it means we see her again. We haven’t seen Dawn since season 1 too and I think it’d be really sweet to see her and Maddie reunite
