I found this heartbreaking note in Maldraxxus:

“To my love:  I confess that I remember.  By some miracle, this echo of our past found me.  I saved it, and with it, saved all that we were.  Perhaps it was my undoing.  I scorned the Archon’s trust and so fell prey to this nightmare.  But the flicker of you comforts me in my final moments.  Fate is blind to this horizon, but may we be as one anew.”

Pardon me, I need to cry for a few minutes and then go back to Bastion to break some kneecaps (or at least write a sternly-worded letter to the Archon.)

Home World: Unknown

Occupation: Mistaken humanoids of the week

First Appearance: "Living Witness” (VOY, 1998)

Summary: These aggressive, warp-capable humanoids live on a handful of planets in the Delta Quadrant. When USS Voyager encountered them in 2374, they were dealing with extremely high tensions with the neighboring Vaskans. Voyager left the area after a Vaskan raid on the Intrepid-class vessel resulted in quite a few things being stolen. This included the back-up copy of the ship's EMH. It remains to be seen how the Vaskan-Kyrian conflict will play out in the future.
