Would Bodyline's OP l304 in sax work with gold shoes? I'm having a hard time telling if the trim is actually gold(ish), or if it's brown like the others and the lighting is just different. Thanks!

The print is definitely brown but I would say you can still wear it with gold shoes.

does L489 and L304 come with any head accessories? also could you help me make a cheap coord for them?

They don’t, but it’s possible to detach the waist bows of both dresses and slot it into a headband to wear on your head. 

Since l304 is an OP, the simplest coord you can do is to wear it on it’s own with socks or tights, shoes, a bag and a head accessory, and these can be white, black or grey. You could have your other items in a single colour. Try to keep the colours balanced if you plan to wear more than one in your coord by including at least two of each colour (e.g. black headbow and shoes, white bag and tights.) 

These items are readily available in mainstream shops (like basic white tights, a cute blouse to be hidden under the OP/JSK, or a simple black bow headband) or online ones, you could go back to Bodyline for your items as well (such as a matching Antique Clock print bag.) I find Magic Tea Party on taobao to have cute and cheap blouses.

It’s also possible to wear a blouse underneath your op but that would require more money, if you don’t have a suitable one already. 

L489 in Pink follows the same idea, add head accessory + blouse + socks + shoes + bag for a basic coord, accessories optional. Pink can be matched with other colours such as white, sax blue, black, pale yellow, mint, it’s quite versatile.

The cheapest option could be to buy a white or black set of bag, shoes, tights and headbow to suit both dresses. Or you could buy a pair of neutral shoes from bodyline (shoes259, shoes260, shoes256 and shoes178 are all cute and cost 2999yen, which is relatively cheap) a neutral bag, and different headbow, tights and accessories (e.g. pink for L489, black for L304.)

Planning on remaking the haircomb... since now I’ve got it on I’m not entirely sure about it but over all I’m so excited about how this outfit’s come together. I still need a bag, I’m thinking Baby’s Alice’s clock bag but it’ll be a matter of tracking one down x_x

I’m also super pumped about my petticoat, I ended up going for a cheapo one to do me until I can get my mitts on a classical puppet bell one (i.e. when I’ve lost some more weight now I’m back on track on that front), but even with just two layers it’s more than poofy enough for me right now. I really can’t wait to wear this out and about, I feel so damn pretty in it ; 3;

(Anonymous please, thank you) Sorry this is kind of urgent as I’m trying to get my first coord(s) in order for a meetup. I have Bodyline l304 in pink and l506 in green as my first dresses. I picked up this and this blouse at Forever21. Are they okay and which one would go better with l506? I was thinking oxfords from Payless would be a quick and versatile option for a first pair of shoes. Do you think oxfords would go with the dresses? Would this or this pair be better? I have a pair of white tights that I think would work, if it were colder could I wear cream colour sweater tights? For headwear, I was thinking of wearing the detachable bows and my hair in curly twintails. If I were to find a pink beret, could I wear that with the detachable bow for l304? Sorry if this is a long post I’m just trying to get my first coords in order asap. Thank you so much I really appreciate your help. :)

The embroidered top is very pretty but it is something that would be better suited to be worn with a skirt as opposed to a JSK in my opinion. There's just something about the style of the neckline that I think would look weird with a JSK. The ruffled top isn't super Lolita as it is, even if it does have a ruffled front, but I think it would be the better option of the two to be worn with the JSK. I would do something with it though because again it has a weird neckline. I think if you were to add a neck accessory like a detachable collar or a neck bow to it that would make it work better.  For the shoes, I think the style with the heel are usually (but not necessarily always) a better look for Lolita because the flat ones are a bit more casual. I do like the color of the flatter ones better than the colors of the heeled ones though. Either would work really but I think the more elaborate you make the coord the more fitting the heeled ones become. Either way I would tie the laces differently so you can make bows out of them which will look much cuter than how they're tied now. For the tights I would actually say the cream ones would be cuter because it looks like the print on the green version of 506 is cream rather than white so it ties together. The same goes for if you were to wear 304. For the headwear, I think a pink beret would look cute with 304, but I would not wear the beret as well as the bow, I would choose one or the other. I think the bow is too big for them to look good together.
