Happy New Year!

This new year is not going to automatically flip a switch and fix everything but it sure infuses a bit of hope into the situation.

This years midnight was extremely eerie. Around 10-15 minutes before 12 some very thick fog descended all around. It was impossible to see any further than the building in front. At the same time, a layer of frost was visibly covering the ground more and more. After it got quiet, at around 12:15 the fog retreated but the frost stayed. It was very strange and it reminded me of the dementor scenes from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
