"Light Behind the Eyes" Master Post
[This is just for reblogging purposes, and to bring all the stuff related to this story together in one place. I especially want to thank everyone who ever sent me comments or clicked "like" or reblogged a chapter to recommend it to their followers, because that feedback is what kept me writing until the end. Also, there are a lot of wonderful reader comments and info on my sources and writing process in the "Fanfic reponses" tag for each chapter, so you can check those out if you're the curious type. ^_^]

Extra: A Sandbender Get Well -- Following the events of Book 3, Dzaya sends Korra a letter. (Written during the post-Book 3 hiatus in response to the suggestion that Korra needed some fandom "get well" cards.)
Illustrations by people much more artistically talented than me:
Korra during the sandbending fight (Part 8) by La-vaniteuse
Korra and Dzaya (Part 10) by Dionysia Jones (Deviant Art)
...and finally, a completely gratuitous link to my other fics.
Thanks for reading. ^_^
finally got the chance to frame these babies. Thank you la-vaniteuse and nymre for knowing how to talent. I wish I had more money to buy from other artists TT^TT
Wait so what kind of hairstyle does f!Mako have?
i used to think f!mako would have a terribly messy fat braid but no..... she cuts her own hair short with a knife and it looks chopped and uneven but WHO CARES SHE HAS SHIT TO DO
later when she's older maybe it looks a little more like korra's does in b4 but she def keeps it short

*googles marco polo* “The Most Gorgeous Thing You’ll Ever Fall Asleep To” ? would you recommend it
a lot of the characters are super weak (with some exceptions) and the dialogue is, for the most part, unilaterally awful, but it's absolutely stunning. it's poorly written and somehow i'm enjoying it anyway.
it's worth a shot if you like period dramas and gorgeous misé-en-scene.

Are you … planning something?
My secret santa. But I've got more than one idea for it, so I may or may not have a small batch in the works, that could be more than just sketches for once.
