The way they frame the Faerie Strike as a ploy by Croix to trick Nova Luna into installing her “upgrades”, and how they portray the Faeries and Akko as dupes for participating and believing in it, is a bit |:T
And having it devolve into a riot, with the ensuing violent menacing being what convinces the school admin to cave, is >:T >:T
But also: the way that riot is also portrayed as caused by Croix, probably directly through her emotion-manipulation magic and definitely indirectly by dousing that fire sprite, is a nicely accurate little capitalist agent provocateur narrative you rarely see in media dealing with labor and labor protests.
So this is STILL the most sympathetic portrayal of a labor action I’ve seen in visual media in a long time.
