QUICK HISTORY
• Ches is the youngest of five children, and the only daughter - because of that fact, she's kind of daddy’s little princess. If she wants something and she whines to her father - she gets it.
• Her and every single one of her siblings were born in Paris, as her mother was a first generation immigrant and she wanted her own mother to be there to see her grandchildren come into the world. Edward wasn’t usually present, the twin’s birth was the only exception. After three boys before, he wanted to be there for his daughter’s birth. Although he quickly flew back home afterwards, business never liked to wait.
• As a small child. Ches was extremely close to her mother, it wasn’t uncommon to see Ches imitating and following Julia around when she was little. Losing the woman when she was six shook her, and she still to this day has nightmares about her mother’s death.
• You see, Ches was with her mother when the woman was murdered (over wanting to file for divorce), and she found out what her father truly was after overhearing an argument in his study afterward. It does make her relationship with the man a bit more complicated than most parent/child ones. She loves her father a lot, she just doesn’t love what he does and how he handles situations.
• Her father, of course, never took the fall (or the blame) for the situation. He would send his children to Paris every summer break to ensure they were still connected with the Andrieux side of their family and as much as their heritage as possible. In many ways, Ches loves France more than America.
• As a teenager, her first love broke her heart badly. Abusive and cruel, her father made him disappear one summer when she was away but it wasn’t before was permanent damage to how she views relationships. After the boy slept with her brother and swore he never loved her, Ches tries to avoid that kind of heartbreak like the plague. • Zander is Balo’s (LINK) older brother, so you if you’ve already read her intro - you have the gist of the dysfunctional Driskell family already.
• His sisters mean a lot to him, when they were growing up he would intevene for them constantly - in various ways that still to this day Balo doesn’t quite realize. Unlike his sister, he has scars (ONE and TWO) because of just how hard he did try to intervene and ensure they were okay.
