Saturday night, and I finally found that confounded bridge for a tune that was looking for one desperately. Making some good progress!! 🤘🤘 . . This is my LTD Sparrowhawk with Lace pickups, tuned to D standard, going through the Marshall DSL40C and Marshall 2 12 cabinet. . Signal Chain: Boss TU-3 Chromatic Tuner, MXR Micro Amp, Boss LS-2 Line Selector, Ibanez TS9DX Turbo Tube Screamer; in the effects loop: MXR Black Label Chorus, MXR KFK Ten Band EQ, MXR Carbon Copy Bright, Boss RV-6 Reverb. I also have two TC Electronics Bona Fide Buffers, one on each board. This is all into the lead channel on the amp, gain on 6, volume at 2, running at half power. Haven't dragged out any 7 strings in awhile. I was struggling, lol. Pretty rusty. Spreading myself pretty thin lately with all the different styles and guitars and amps and clean and high gain tones. I'm not sure I can even define "my sound" at this point. Eclectic? Directionless? Cruel Logic. Pretty sure that's it. 🤘🤘🤘😊 . Anyway, here's a last verse of one of the first songs I came up with on 7 string. I FINALLY got my DAW installed and working, so... MAYBE finished songs are coming. Still trying to juggle running a business and doing this music thing. Not enough hours in the day to practice, work, run the house, run the biz, and record music.
