I'm so happy that cabin crew happened because Scott has never had to keep three idiots alive and together in the life series before.
Everyone that Scott has teamed up with have been quite capable and have been predictable enough, except martyn but that was just one other person and Scott has been quite content to bend over his back for his allies before.
But now his allies are etho (who doesn't have much loyalty and was literally drifting from group to group last season), bdubs (who is only loyal to etho and would definitely kill his teammates if it benefits him) and Scar (who is the most unpredictable in the life smp in my opinion, he could be losing almost all his lives or he could be the last green, he could fail all his traps or could be a killing machine without knowing).
Scott knows his limits and he was going to team up with ONLY etho, but now he is in group with a deadbeat dad and his traumatised sons and Scott has always been fine with giving everything to his allies but how can he do that when his allies cannot even AGREE WITH EACH OTHER!!??
I also loved that he sat them down at the end and lectured them on how healthy relationships need effective communication.
