C'mon, Bambi, Break Out Your Dancing Shoes
Larei peeked into her room, looking down to see her still-a-lady boyfriend flumped over on the ground, staring up at the ceiling as if it had personally betrayed her. Larei quirked a brow, leaning against the doorframe and waiting for Eiel to explain herself.
"...that would be me," she said after a moment, sitting up and stretching out newly-working legs. "I pulled an Ariel. However I did not have the beach or water to catch me. It was unfortunate."
"You're also not half naked, sugar," Larei said, smiling and stepping towards Eiel. She grabbed both her arms, hoisting her up and catching her when she pitched forward. "...also unfortunate, but I'll make due. You okay?"
"Oh, yeah, sure," Eiel said with a smile, pushing back a little to test how soundly she could stand on her feet. Her knees shook and she rolled her eyes. "Wow, I took the 'Bambi' nickname literally, didn't I..."
"Hey now," Larei admonished, flicking her nose and quirking a ginger brow, "at least you're on your feet."
"Odin bless Emile," Eiel said, smiling slightly. "Now if only I could, you know. Get back to the shape I know best." She waved at herself, tugging on the oversized shirt she'd been wearing to sleep every night since the sudden sex-change fiasco. Larei smiled, wrapping an arm around Eiel's waist and leading her to the closet.
"Oh, but then I wouldn't get to dress you up for tonight!"
"...Tonight? Am I missing something? Anniversary, birthday...?"
"We're celebrating your fixed knees, Bambi. You look good as new."
"Ignoring the new scars..."
Larei furrowed her brows, taking one of Eiel's hands and kissing right on top of one of said scars. It was one of the two the demigod had gotten during captivity, when the hunter had stabbed through his hands while screaming at him. Her Bambi might've gotten caught, but at least he sassed his captor until he couldn't anymore.
That had to show something, right?
"...hopefully your breasts won't be too big for my dresses," Larei said after a moment, grinning toothily at Eiel as she tried to move them through the heavy moment. "We're going to look amazing once I'm through."
"I think I'm scared."
Larei kissed Eiel's cheek, grinning.

Sitting across from one another in the fancy restaurant, Eiel eating her food as not-aggressively as possible and Larei sipping from her glass of B-, chilled, the vampiress nudged her demigod's leg with a toe.
"Glad you got out?"
Eiel paused, looking around once as if to see who was there; as if to check the exits, and to see if she recognized anyone or if they recognized them. As if to make sure it was safe and secure and that, if it wasn't, she could get them out of there - Bambi legs or not.
But then she looked at Larei, watching her with pale eyes and an expectant expression, and the Lokison-turned-Lokisdottr couldn't help but smile a bit.
"...Yeah, I am."
"Good," Larei grinned, putting down her glass. "'Cause now we're gonna try dancin'."
Eiel had a terrible feeling already, but that was alright.
She'd fall over every other step so long as Larei was happy.
