The smirk >>>
Lady Felicia in this episode is perfection, I love her
A new child is taking shape
I feel/am so disconnected of all those Father Brown complex theories and headcanons I think I wouldn’t dare to write anything so no one could, you know, ‘hissssss’ at me for not stick to/fit into their “rules”. I think I’ll settle for drawing,
it's not a plotline but joey's story from friends that made women want to have sex with him
Already kinda did this for Cheleanor from TGP here so I gotta give this one to Lady Felicia Montague from Father Brown Mysteries. (For reference, it’s the story that goes, “Years ago, I was backpacking across western Europe. I was just outside Barcelona, hiking in the foothills of Mt. Tibidabo. I was at the end of this path, and I came to a clearing, and there was a lake, very secluded, and there were tall trees all around. It was dead silent. Gorgeous. And across the lake I saw, a beautiful woman, bathing herself. She was crying…”)
Lady F taught Sid everything he knows, and this story gets the best consistent results
Bunty mentions hearing the story from a past lover and Felicia chokes on her tea because Heavens above, she hadn’t intended it to spread that quickly
Mrs. McCarthy is aghast, while the Father just smiles and compliments Lady Felicia on her creativity & storytelling skills
Flambeau hates how impressed he is by this
Sgt. Goodfellow still doesn’t understand why the woman in the story was crying
Bunty told Bobby Malmont (from The Labyrinth of the Minotaur) about the story, so he tried it out on Joan (because he’s an idiot). He barely got two sentences in before Joan interrupted him to talk about Tibidabo being the tallest mountain in the Serra de Collserola and how it’s home to the Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor, which was designed by the Spanish architect Eric Sagnier, and did you know construction still isn’t finished--and yeah, it didn’t work the way he hoped it would
Punk Lady F.
Lady Frankenstein
Couple days late but I said I was gonna do it SO I AM GONNA DO IT
1. Do you love/hate/don’t feel strongly about this character?
Lady F is flawless
2. What’s your favorite trait of this character?
I love Lady F’s attitude. She doesn’t put up with any BS, she doesn’t let people walk over or ignore her, and she isn’t afraid to let her opinion be known.
As somebody that tends to reign in comments/opinions IRL to avoid upsetting people, that is a quality that I envy.
3. What’s your favorite moment/event involving this character?
4. If you could have one power/attribute/etc. of this character what would it be?
If I ever become a reanimated corpse, I would want to be at least a fourth as fabulous as Lady F.
5. Have you ever pictured this character naked?
Nope. although sometimes the artist didn’t leave much to the imagination
6. When did you fall in love/hate with this character? If you don’t have any strong feelings toward them, why not?
One of the first real scenes with her and she’s fighting an entire planet of monsters. Yet she’s collected enough to be able to sass her (ex)husband. Lady F kicks all kinds of butt!
This woman eats nails for breakfast. Without any milk.
7. Who’s your OTP for this character?
I ship her with Frankie. I love how, as much as she sasses him, she won’t let anybody else do the same. Their relationship has it’s issues… but they love each other.
And in regards to platonic relationships, I would have loved to see more Nina and Lady F interactions - they were all really wonderful.
