Some redesigns of Spider-man characters I've done over the years.
Amazing Spider-man - My take on Peter's classic Red & Blue outfit; while I did take some inspiration from the MCU version, I mostly leaned towards some of the older versions he's had over the years. I also tried to incorporate a more angular Spider-symbol into the lining of the suit. Additionally I wanted to show off some of Peter's smarter side by making the suit a bit more worked on then how it's usually depicted with him padding the red parts out to make it more armored and making the rotating carosol in the webshooters more obvious.
Ultimate Spider-man - Miles was kind of hard to do a redesign for since I do like his main outfit, but I did eventually settle on doing a mix between his original outfit and the T.R.A.C.K. suit he sports in the insomniac games since I wanted to incorporate the white from that suit.
Scarlet Spider - Not much to say here, it's mostly just adjusting Kaine as the Scarlet Spider into my style.
Silk - Same sort of deal with Silk, I do like her more proper outfit and mostly wanted to just apply it to my artstyle while adjusting a couple things to make it more streamlined for me
Spider-man 2099 - While Miguel might seem like a simply application to my artstyle, I did actually do a bit of redesign here by mixing his looks from the comics, Marvel S.T.R.I.K.E. Force, and bits of Across the Spiderverse.
Green Goblin - One of the redesigns I'm more proud of. I mainly took inspiration from Spectacular Spider-man and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, with some techy alterations here and there to show that he's wearing a suit while still leaning into the bit
Hobgoblin - Obviously used my prior Green Goblin design as a base for the details while throwing in aspects of the comic version. I also tried to give him a more medevial theme while making things look more manufactured since my idea here is that Hobgoblin is mostly just interested in the gear and simply adopts the goblin identity since a lot of Green Goblins tech is designed around it
Doctor Octavious - Planning on doing a couple other Doc Ock designs, but this one is supposed to be based around his typical depictions from the comics, while including aspects from the 90's cartoon and the 2002 movie
Electro - Not totally satisfied with how Max turned out, but I knew I wanted to lean towards his classic look, though I did also take some inspiration from Insomniac for his harness
Mysterio - Another one I'm pretty proud of, I drew inspiration from multiple sources. Obvious the MCU was one of the main sources I drew inspiration from with some Spectacular Spider-man thrown in, along with bits from the comic, but I also believe I took some inspiration from Marvel S.T.R.I.K.E. force as well
Rhino - Still tweaking the fine details, but I tried mixing the occasional armored suit look he's been sporting lately with the classic "strong man in a rhino suit" bit. I also did technically draw some inspiration from Spectacular Spider-man with how I drew his face
Scorpion - one of the first one of these that I did, I primarily took inspiration from the original Ultimate universe version of the character while mixing in some of his 90's version here and there
Vulture - Probably drew from the most sources to get inspiration for Toomes, I drew some inspiration from Spectacular Spider-man for the rough shape of the chest harrness and the red color, tried to go with a bit of the look from some of the more recent promotional images for him for the helmet, obviously tried to bring in bits of the classic with the collar and even some MCU flair with the retractable talons on the feet (albeit more streamlines)
Lady Octopus - Mostly drew inspiration from the 2020 cartoon for Trainers look and color, but I did try to streamline it and make it more in line with how she might look in the modern comics
Meet Lady Octopus! In my fanmade theory her name is Olivia Octavius if she was in Ultimate Spider-Man! She's 25 years old, and the missing daughter of Otto Octavius.
She's risen
