Connor and Eerie for @ladyblargh! She’s been having a rough time of it lately, so I wanted to draw her babies! (I had been wanting to anyways)

Day two of non-stop work. Both Connor and Eerie are exhausted, but they have a meeting with the department to go to. They arrive last to the conference room, and there’s only one chair left. Connor insists Eerie take it, because he’s a gentleman and he knows her new shoes are really hurting her feet, but Eerie insists Connor take it because he’s been doing all the leg work and has to be exhausted by now. The co-workers helpfully suggest that she just sit on his lap, but they both get reasonably flustered by this. Connor does allow her to sit on his leg, which is not the same as sitting on his lap, thank you very much!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY @ladyblargh​!!!!!!!!! 

I mostly draw silly jokes about your very good OCs Connor and Eerie (everyone go see then at ladyblargh’s tag “Chouette”!!), but they are also extremely sweet and romantic and i wanted to do something romantic for them. so i drew this for your birthday and then halfway through i remembered that eerie is claustrophobic. but it was too late. so now you will have to imagine a situation to explain why she is not scared of this very small closet they are hiding in. or maybe she is scared but she is distracted right now.

I made an Eerie doll, based on @ladyblargh 's story, Chouette !

I really love Chouette, so I wanted to make a rendition to it. I personally love Eerie, her personality is very relatable and her design is so pretty!

I Made A Pillow Pit™ (kinda)

Remaking this post because I’m an idiot and accidentally hit delete when I went to add a picture.

So a little while ago, I moved to a different room in our ancient (literally over a century old) house. Because it’s so old, we don’t really have a proper HVAC system, and there is zero insulation in the walls, so that room gets really hot in the summer and really cold in the fall/winter (the pacific northwest be like that). 

Because it would cost a fortune to try and heat/cool the whole room with those portable AC/heating units, I picked up a few sets of cheap blackout curtains and used them to kind of tent off my bed area so I could heat/cool just that part of the room. This also worked out pretty great because sleep and I have a, well, complicated relationship and I have a hard time falling asleep if it’s not almost completely dark. 

On another note, I ended up spending part of the summer at my aunt and uncles house, and the guest room I was staying in had 4-5 pillows on the bed and I got really used to being able to use an abundance of pillows to prop me up in, like, any sleeping position I wanted. When I got home and only had the one pillow on my bedand it sucked. I found out that walmart sells these bargain bin pillows for like $2.50 apiece (they’re those cheap polyester fiber filled ones that would be terrible for your neck, but are really squishy and perfect for snuggling with), so now I have 7 pillows.

Anyways, I was doing some work the other day and realized that I almost had my own Connor Pillow Pit™ from @ladyblargh ‘s Chouette! story. I don’t have couches or a secret passageway, so it’s not quite a full Pillow Pit™ (maybe a diet Pillow Pit™???) but it’s super cozy like I would imagine the canon one would be.

Gonna go work on adding Christmas lights
