Do you prefer writing male muses or female more? Why?

Hmm, it’s not so much a preference, but looking back at all the muses I’ve written, I do have more male-coded muses than female-coded. I think this is more so a reflection of how lacking we are in general of well-written female characters who aren’t designated to a role and defined by it, at least in the content I consume. I also tend to gravitate towards a certain type of characters, and most of those are male.

With that said, Marie-Joseph has basically taken over my life, and I couldn’t be happier~

What’s one thing that other people seem to hate that doesn’t bother you?

Tbh if something bothers most people it’d probably bother me. LOL I can’t think of anything except maybe hetero ships? Me and a few friends of mine once got shat on for shipping Griffith/Farnese because according to those haters Griffith is gay and bisexuals/pansexuals don’t exist. Not that I care what they think, but man some people can get so vicious over fictional characters. I love my ships not for what genitals are involved, but then again I’m pan and ID as non-binary so those things literally don’t matter as far as I’m concerned.

R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?

This is really hard to choose, and I don’t think I have just one favourite, but I do have a huge soft spot for the friendship between Prushka and Riko. I don’t think I need to elaborate on it, since canon did the perfect job to illustrate how strong their bond is, even though they didn’t know each other for a long time. I love Prushka. She suffered one of the most tragic arcs in the story, but there’s purity and unwavering resolve in it and also in her heart, which I think is what drives the story forward through the other characters as well.

K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

This is so difficult to choose! I mean, I love Prushka, but I already talked about her, so I’ll pick...both Riko and Nanachi’s arcs, because I can’t choose between them. They’re both orphans, but their lives started out and took completely different routes. However, they were brought together by the Call of the Abyss, something that not even a child of another nation could ignore, which I love because it’s romantic in a way.

I love Reg’s arc too, but we know very little about his past, so I’m still waiting for that to unfold.
