5. Are there any shows that you‘ve been planning to start watching? Why do they interest you?

My irl best friend keeps telling me to watch Jane The Virgin (which is meant to be really good and sort of Gilmore Girls-esque). But also it's pretty long and I'm currently still not over my current Gilmore Girls fixation (despite finishing my rewatch up to the end of s7 on Wednesday and having decided not to rewatch the reboot until I get up to that point in Gilmore Guys, whose podcast I am currently listening to and is what spurred this particular bout of obsession).

Lol that was long. Anyway my gf wants to watch that Tiger King thing so I guess we'll get round to that after we finish Skin Wars and Gavin and Stacey. And I'm going to try and get her to watch Crazy Ex Girlfriend with me bc I've been wanting to watch it for ages but I know she'll really enjoy it too.

18. If you could make your own podcast, what would it be about and who would you invite to make a guest appearance?

I've actually been thinking about this lately, probably The Hour, just bc I feel like I could talk in depth about it and analyse it and have fun with it, it's something I know inside out. I think I'd like a variety of guests, other people who love it as well, and cast/crew members (lol the dream) but also I'd be super interested to watch it with someone who'd never seen it before (a la the premise of gilmore guys lol).

I'd also like to do one about the BBC version of Robin Hood bc it is objectively TERRIBLE but it's also a lot of fun, something I have a LOT to say about but also wouldn't have to take too seriously, and I also think the three seasons are all very different from each other. But yeah, basically I'd do some kind podcast based around a TV show that I love (that's probably also been off the air for many years)

Do you have any Downton OCs? If not, you should get on that and we can stick 'em in the next movie. :D

I actually do have several Downton OCs--a friend and I write this long-winded collaborative Downton fic that we will never post, because it is extra and we are ridiculous. We have a whole cast that we’ve invented and I do think it adds a little something to the Downton universe! My main OC in that is Amelia Levinson, the daughter of one of Cora’s cousins. Amelia is a little bit younger than Sybil and comes to Downton in 1920 to attend Matthew and Mary’s wedding. Although she is ostensibly just there for the wedding, in reality Amelia has fled New York for England to escape the gossip and stigma of her parents’ impending divorce. When she first arrives at Downton Amelia is quite shy, but she gains confidence as she forges friendships with Matthew, Tom, and the Crawley sisters. Amelia is very musically gifted and wishes to study music, but she worries her family would not approve.

HOWEVER, since you and I have been discussing this, let’s leave Amelia on the backburner for now and whip up another OC...

Robert Crawley’s marriage to Cora has turned out better than he ever could have dreamed...but in the beginning, things weren’t so certain...A long-ago liaison with a woman he could not have--the daughter of a colleague from the Army, resulted in a secret that has the potential to devastate the residents of Downton Abbey.

Robert never thought that his past could come back to haunt him. Downton Abbey! (Also can I steal the ask game?)

I talked about Amelia already, but I have plenty more! Let’s introduce...Mr. Henry McDermott!

Facelaim is Colin Morgan because I appreciate his face

Irish-born Henry McDermott is the valet of another Downton character I made up, Mr. Alexander Knightly (I can make a post later for him if you want). He easily befriends Tom Branson, although he often feels caught between two worlds when he is with him. Henry is less political than Tom, although he does want Irish independence...but he also feels guilty for working for the aristocracy in such a capacity. It is something he and Tom argue about frequently. Henry is fiercely loyal to the Knightly family and has a crush on Amelia’s maid Catherine...but will she ever look twice at a poor Irish valet?

Also, Henry and Thomas Barrow have some EPIC frenemies moments.
