Uhh hi Tumblr I've been lurking I swear... This is a huge project that I've been working on since the literal upload of "Sun Makes a DEADLY CHOICE" on the TSAMS YT. My lovely partner ( @haven-creates ) and best friend ( who does not have tumblr ) have been getting the most sneak-peeks of this since I started working on it. I've been on and off working on this (as you can tell by the inconsistency in some of the earlier frames) and debated several times in not finishing it / leaving it uncolored, but here I am, with a fully colored animatic and detailing I haven't put into my art for years now lol (+ an extra lil animation at the end). Sun is by far my favorite character in the entire show, for many reasons, so it's no surprise Dark Sun is a massive source of curiosity and affection for me. His motives, his behavior, his speaking patterns, it all just adds up to this glorious plate of "Midnight's favorite Little Guy (TM)." I wish we knew more about him then we did right now, and honestly, the fact that Mrs_Shadow came out with a Dark Sun song yesterday is just,,, so fitting for the fact I'm posting this today.

N e ways; Thank you to my partner for their encouragement, for The Sun and Moon Show and The Lunar and Earth Show (and The Eclipse and Puppet Show) for all existing and being as high-effort and high-quality as they are. I won't get into the emotional bits, I just love these silly little heartbreaking shows so so much AUGH.

Some context: canon Andromeda has grown on me so I made this trio for laes rewrite, They are created for the theatre as a trio/duo act

The older Andromeda is dead (due to,,,events) and so only Day and Night are left. They do not like their newer versions

Moon is Lunars caregiver, and has been since Lunar was still in their head.

When Lunar regresses, they refuse to be set down, and not a second of their tiny time will be spent outside of a carers arms. As a result, Moon is used to carrying them all around, and sometimes even forgets that they're in his arms, especially because they're typically asleep.

More headcanons for caregiver Moonie below the cut :]

-Although he seems like he wouldn't be the greatest at caregiving, he is. He knows how to play a little rougher with Sun when they regress to a bit older, but also knows how to be oh so gentle with Lunar, shushing and rocking them

-Built Lunar's crescent moon shaped crib for them, including the mobile with it

-Earth scolds him for heating bottles in the microwave instead of the bottle warmer when she's around

-Has one of those baby pouches and carries Lunar in it since they won't let him set them down

-When he notices Lunar is doing one of their no-regressing spurts, he'll pick them right up, carry them to their room, and baby the heck out of them until they slip

-Knows the no pants rule. has gotten kicked in the face enough times to know trying is pointless

-Gives little nuzzles instead of kisses

-Loves all of Lunars plushies just as much as they do

-Has fallen asleep in Lunar's crib with them far too many times

-Will never get tired of singing and humming them little lullabies

-Overall, best caregiver ever <3

Ranting about some weird TSAMS account

There's this one blog that kinda revolves around TSAMS and TLAES, which I find so confusing to a point I find it hilarious but so frustrating that I refuse to believe the person behind this account is real

This blog talks about how Moon is a victim of the celestial family's wrongdoings, all the while villainizing Sun. To make him the abuser and this mastermind that pulls the strings behind the situations this family is in day in and day out. And one of their main evidence of this take are the GAMING EPISODES 😭 THOSE ARENT CANON (Well- some of them, I think!)

Another thing is that they think Moon is an SA victim because of what Eclipse did to him (implementing Lunar into his head since he used some of their code to make him or smth like that 🤷‍♂️). And honestly, that is the most off hand takes I've seen in this God damn fandom 🧍‍♂️

Like you may not like Eclipse or Sun, but that does not mean you go out of your way to make up your own interpretations on them which is HELLA out of character and just downright wrong (and disgusting, ESPECIALLY THE ECLIPSE TAKE)

Anywaysss I just wanted to talk about this since I see their account every month, and their takes always makes me wonder how people could be this spiteful 😮‍💨 And bc I stalk their account sometimes to give myself a little chuckle (their takes are so stupid I consider them comedy)

Night

Night has an open mouth rather than Day's closed one because I wanted to combine the models and the thumbnail design; the thumbnail shows them with open mouths.

Lore:

My plan was to make them a ruined SunMoon, but now I believe they've always been separated.

So, the homicide-code affected them and they're insane. I'll change their designs a bit to make them look more broken, more that they escaped decommission and have been living on the streets.

Day is the leader of the duo, and the first one the homicide code corrupted. I may even make it that he corrupted Night on purpose.

Since they were created separately the homicide code didn't form a new personality in the code, as we've seen before, but connected to the base personality corrupting it like normal. Day is still joyful and energetic, but likes to play twisted and violent games. (Day and Night are like the new Bloodtwins).

Night is quieter. Actually, I don't know if he spoke at all, I watched this episode almost 12 hours ago. He revels in violence and chaos just as much as Day does.

In my plot, they're trying to find their Creator. Who I imagine to be someone who created them, and Earth and Lunar, purely for money from Fazbear. He doesn't see them as his children. Day wants to corrupt more animatronics to make his own sick little family. Their Creator didn't make the virus, though, and never planned for this to happen. Day and Night went to the Pizzaplex to try to get information, and weren't aware of Earth and Lunar. They will be back.

After that will probably be Sunny and Moonie (FFNaFS) and more on my AU for it.

Soon, I plan to make an SB AU. Not based on my FNaF theories, but whatever sounds fun to me.
