Their first kiss
Perlica, Laevatain, Chen.
Perlica
After the mission, you returned to Dijiang with Perlica, your fingers intertwined as you entered. You were almost seated in one of the seats when Perlica suddenly gently tugged on your sleeve, stopping you. You tilted your head curiously at her, causing her to blink rapidly and look away, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks. She clears her throat before asking to move to a more private spot. You look at her with a small smile, nodding. So you both enter the hut (fortunately, no one was there; probably resting elsewhere), returning your attention to Perlica.
You notice how much her ears twitches and how she plays with her fingers. It was immediately obvious she was nervous about something, so you asked her about it. She shakes her head and looks at you shyly. "Something's been bothering me lately, Endministrator. It's been bothering me so much that I couldn't stop thinking about it. You're probably curious what it is, judging by the look on your face, Endministrator." You take a step closer to her, squeezing her hands supportively. She avoids your gaze for a moment before taking a deep breath. “Have you ever thought about kissing someone you love? The way your lips feel against theirs. The way their-” You silence her, placing a finger on her lip, stopping her. You quickly understood what she was getting at. “You talk too much, Perlica,” you say with a chuckle before pressing your lips against hers, completely surprising her. Her ears perk up, and her hands shake, unsure of what to do. When you pull away, Perlica is still trying to comprehend what just happened. But then a murmur escapes her lips: “Please, let’s keep this between us, Endmin…”. You can notice a small smile forming on her lips. You know, if anyone found out about this, she would be teased for the rest of her life.
Laevatain
You're taking a break in the central room on Dijiang, scrolling through your device's screen, but suddenly you feel something cold pressing against your cheek, making you jump at the tension. You press your hand to your cheek with a ":o" expression and look at Laevatain smirking beside you, two ice creams in her hands. "Taking a break, huh? In moments like these, I like to stare out the window and bite into a good ice cream, trying to piece together the shattered memories. Here, try this," she offers you one. You blink and take it gratefully. "Bite into ice cream? I didn't know you could do that," you smile, licking the ice cream. "Hmph, of course I can. Nothing stands a chance against my heat." She rolls her eyes and takes a bite of her ice cream to prove her point. You're surprised she didn't melt it while eating it. "But it's more important that you enjoy your ice cream." She chuckles and wipes the ice cream from your face, forcing you to pause for a moment. "I still can't believe someone like you became the Endministrator… What? No, I don't think you're weak or anything. You're just too… Forget it." She looks away, her cheeks flushing.
You stare at her with a knowing smile, countinuing to lick your ice cream while she continues to avoid your gaze. But then she sighs in defeat. "Okay, I admit it. You're damn cute. But don't take it personally, because that's the last time I'll say that," she snorts. Meanwhile, her gaze drifts off into the distance, and you quietly move closer her. When she turns to look at you, it's too late, because you press your lips against hers, surprising her. For a moment, she wants to push you away and ask what the hell you're doing, but who is she lying to? She's been waiting for this moment. When you pull away, you simply look at her with an innocent smile. "Damn you… I… I definitely won't forget this..." she grasps her head while a red blush colors her cheek.
Chen
Angst?
You wandered through Valley IV, searching for anything to catch your eye. You focused on the map, looking around for the last Aurylene. "There should be something here, Chen." Meanwhile, Chen, determined as ever, scanned the entire area, still unable to find it. "Ugh… I swear we've been through this place before…" she huffs softly and lay down on the ground in defeat. "I thought you weren't the type to give up so easily?" You sat down next to her and put down your sword. You watched Chen roll on the ground in pure frustration. Finally, her gaze fell on you, and she moved her head to your lap, saying nothing. You had grown accustomed to her straightforwardness. "I'm not giving up!! I'm just… regaining my energy, yes!" she exclaimed loudly with a proud smile. You couldn't help but chuckle a bit at her demeanor and the wiggling of her tail.
You lay there together for a moment, gazing into the distance, enjoying the view. But then you notice Chen looking at you with something in her eyes you can't quite place. Suddenly she says, "...Hey, Admin?" You tilt your head at her. She seems hesitant to speak her mind. You gently brush her hair from her face and smile softly. Finally, she takes a deep breath and says, "Do you think I'm a burden?" Your heart races. You want to say something, but she's first: "In peace like this, I often think about it. About how my mom leave me and my dad. My dad won't tell me about what happened. That's why I think and..think...and think…" She takes a breath, then falls silent. Was she always like this? It seems her usual enthusiasm concealed something else. You look at her, but her gaze is elsewhere, so you lift her chin and… You stay there for a moment before you pull away. Her eyes are closed until she finally opens them and looks at you with tears in her eyes. "I love you, Endmin. Please don't leave me…" she manages to stutter before pressing her face into your chest. How dumb of her to say something like this. You never leave her.
