Dune Elves

Elves of the Dunes. Creations of Lafi, God of Liminal. During the great war, they fled underground at the beckoning of Lafi himself to protect the Keeper from the relentless Sun Elves.

Above in the dunes, one can see Death's Tower in the distance. They say the clearer it is, the nearer the onlooker is to their demise. If it fills the soul with fear, the death is sudden and painful.

Lafi dug tunnels underground for his creations. Cave-ins has since closed off many exits and there's no longer a way into the tunnel system. It's said that the Keeper hid their library deep down in the tunnels, and this is where the surviving Dunes live.

While now closed off, secluded, they have in the past been open and friendly. One of them even asked the Queen of Norse to wed him, unaware of her title and what it meant for her people.

Their story is detailed down to their tragic demise when the Sun Empire invaded the Norse. Here, in one of the many books hidden in the temple, one can read the fate of their three children.
