Hamilton Disney+ Recording Spoilers Ahead!!

-firstly, holy crap.

-secondly, holy crap.

-this musical and the recording of it was everything I could have dreamed of

-I was supposed to see it for my birthday but seeing the original cast portray the characters exactly as they were supposed to be was MIND BLOWING

-I laughed my ASS of at all of Daveed Diggs’ characters

-the details were immaculate, from changing the chairs to the spinning floor, I was enamoured with them

-Philippa Soo’s scream when Philip died made me physically SOB, I wanted to watch it again but at the same time never wanted my heart to have to experience the same hurt again

-the way they did John Laurens’ death also had me in tears, this man meant so much to Hamilton!!!

-Anthony Ramos owns my heart

-they really didn't let Leslie Odom Jr. breathe there, did they?

-costumes: 1000/10

-as a dancer, I personally wanted more of the background to be shown because I love watching the ensemble and the staging but for a filming of a live show, I loved it

-just so in love. 

-Lin, I love you.

so I was listening to found/tonight, and I was thinking about how deliberately they change “when our children tell our story” to “when our children tell *their* story” and that made me think. The very beginning of their childrens story happens tonight.... “tommorow they’ll be more of us” as if they are perhaps creating new life... do you get what I am saying
